These legendary coaches all had great support to help them reach the top of their profession and stay there: Geno's success has been supported by CD; Auerbach was supported by Bill Russell; Popovich was supported by Tm Duncan; and, John Wooden was supported by Sam Gilbert.;)

Applying the term genius to Geno implies his stature may be equated to fellows like Mozart, Einstein, or DaVinci. But in the world of mere mortals, he is the only basketball coach I would include in the same sentence with Red Auerbach.

Agree Crystal played very well, especially that nifty no-look pass to the trailer on a fast break. But we have never honored more than three players in a game. The three Badasses vs. Tulsa combined for 60 points, 12 assists, 6 blocks, 3 turnovers--in 3 quarters!:) (Nat also played well.);)

Of course not. To his (and CD's) credit, Geno is focused on their skills and personal qualities. If anything, he seems to especially admire the character of these special young ladies.

A few more incidental comments. Crystal, as a freshman, apparently lives in a dorm room. (She is shown studying next to a bunk bed and brushing her teeth in a community bathroom.) The cooking scene in Gabby's(?) kitchen was amusing. Also had a totally jammed fridge. The play-by-play voice...

Just watched it. Wonderful. Progress from Baylor to ND to MD to SC. . . . Also progress by Geno, from clean shaven to scraggly beard and back to clean shaven, BUT. . . now with a distinct part in his hair! Pheesa under the radar. Stay tuned.:)

Another achievement by Pheesa, albeit unofficial, is her team leadership in Boneyard Badass Awards: 14 in 29 games! (Gabby 12, Lou 11).

I'm sure they too want a rematch.;)
