Loose lips sink ships?
KC area BBQ beats Texas for everything but Brisket. None of the southern states are as good, but there is good Q all over.I like it and I think he is from KC? BBQ there is fantastic and not just the renown ones. Short end or long end dry rub ribs. Short end are meatier.
I'm not going to pretend to know. I am just stating fact that after today's closed session, there is a special board meeting by the CU Board of Regents for Friday at 10am EST. Having heard today's was about realignment then it makes sense that Friday's will be for a vote. Also look at CU's prior announcement and how the days aligned from meeting to announcement. Colorado joining BIG12 is a key part of what happens next.Wouldn’t we have seen the same type of meeting for UConn if this was happening for us to?
Maybe UConns decision is already made.I'm not going to pretend to know. Does the BOT have to hold a public vote to approve? I forgot how it happened moving to the Big East.Maybe UConns decision is already made.
If he’s retweeting swa I m (who is nonkey) can this be key? Is mike Vernon reliable?
Next scheduled BOT meeting is June 28th.Does the BOT have to hold a public vote to approve? I forgot how it happened moving to the Big East.
Just out of curiosity, Why does CU "need" to go first? Curious as to the rationale? If he’s retweeting swa I m (who is nonkey) can this be key? Is mike Vernon reliable?
Nobody wants the be the school that broke up the Pac-12 so Colorado becomes the scapegoat if they leave first.Just out of curiosity, Why does CU "need" to go first? Curious as to the rationale?
Because if Colorado isn't coming, they aren't doing it at all. I think people underestimate just how important it is for them to have a school that left come back. We know that none of the others will.Just out of curiosity, Why does CU "need" to go first? Curious as to the rationale?
They’re the one the Big 12 members and leaders really want - we’re just nice to have.Just out of curiosity, Why does CU "need" to go first? Curious as to the rationale?

I do too although I don’t follow closely. I meant that viewership for WBB as a sport is increasing. At least that’s what I’ve heard. More talk about LSU, SC and Iowa or IowaSt? Than UConn.Hopefully they can stay healthy and win it all this coming season. It'll be another opportunity for a UConn basketball team to cut down nets in April in front of a national audience.
It's UConn fatigue.I do too although I don’t follow closely. I meant that viewership for WBB as a sport is increasing. At least that’s what I’ve heard. More talk about LSU, SC and Iowa or IowaSt? Than UConn.

Is this a pre-requisite for membership?
Notice it's all beef. People who take that class then need an upper level one at UMKC for Pork and Chicken.

Dennis Dodd talks about Yormark's plan for the Northeast. Says there could be some sort of tournament at MSG.
Are you one of the guys that always went or went often to MSG for the tournament? If so i do feel for you and others. That is a big deal.I’m all for a move to the Big XII for financial reasons, but having our conference tourney in Kansas City depresses me.
I'm not so sure. MSG i think is a hard and expensive place to get into.If we get invited to the Big 12, I think part of the deal would be that we agree to play a certain amount of games at MSG.
Nobody in the Big 12 cares about MSG. Not many people outside metro NY have any kind of reverence for it. We would never play league games there. If we get invited to the Big 12, I think part of the deal would be that we agree to play a certain amount of games at MSG.
I don't know why the Big 12 would want two Arizona schools.
Well, we're going to be playing Gonzaga there.I'm not so sure. MSG i think is a hard and expensive place to get into.
This is a false narrative. UConn and the UConn twitter-verse needs to challenge these fools. They acknowledge the basketball brand but point out that UConn has not invested heavily in football
I don't want to get too deep into this, but like I said, have you seen where these other schools are located? Who do you think the typical UConn fan relates to more socially and culturally? A Providence/Villanova/Georgetown fan or a BYU/Baylor/Oklahoma St fan?

We’re not getting into the Big 12 as a full member because of the football program.
Perception is reality.
these guys are a self-licking ice cream cone. We spend more than anybody out of pocket subsidizing football which means we are risky because we are outside a P5 and putting us in a P5 is risky because the subsidy may go away. You can’t make this crap up.This is a false narrative. UConn and the UConn twitter-verse needs to challenge these fools.
