Key tweets, and it's all gone to Hell.

I asked about net revenue. does UConn football actually make money? Net revenue.
Wait, wouldn't "net" revenue be basketball?

Double check my spelling for basketball. It begins with an F (ootball).

Edit: took me a few minutes too long to get your "net" reference than it should have.

Not crazy about an 8 team football conference plus one basketball only

Why? Should provide FB scheduling opportunities in a world where P2 wants to exclude all others

In a perfect world men's and women's basketball each win another title this year, and then men's and women's hockey do the same. While low odds, this year is probably the best chance that this happens for a single school.

I would be very surprised if it did. But revenue sharing for purposes of player compensation is calculated from the top line or the gate. I do not know which one. Top line includes TV revenue. Gate is self explanatory.

Midwest owns women's hockey. 21/24 of the titles ... the other 3 were Clarkson
east of the Hudson have only made 9 finals

When did Syracuse and Iowa State get into the B1G?
I've come to realize there is a very large group is highly literal humans on the board. As if you don't know what I allude to - sorry, 7 out of the 10 are B10 and 1 is UConn. The other is Iowa St (also midwest) and Syracuse (might as well be midwest). Hard to make anything out of it given no southern or western schools at all.

Thanks for the clarification. :)

I discovered that too. Not a lot of understanding of hyperbole among the denizens of the ‘ yard. If you say you are so hungry you could eat a horse it is very possible that the thread will devolve into a discussion of recipes for preparing horse burgers while a second group will delve into a debate about the merits of a lunch of horse vs moose. And of course Nelson will ask is your affinity for horses means you want to return to the American Athletic Conference.

So basically, you're saying posting on The Boneyard is like sitting around with a group of people smoking pot.

David Benedict reposted this tweet. Not sure why.

ACC is terrible. You had Miami choke a couple of conference games so they did not make the ACC championship game. A terrible Duke team won the conference that allowed two G6 teams to make CFP.
