I usually don’t like huge slices, let alone hockey pucks like that lol I grew up on a place that did the more shredded, Greco style sausage. But I am of a similar vein. Modern is the go-to in that it’s the most consistent… but when Sally’s is hitting (and it isn’t always), it’s probably the best

No doubt. Sally’s is the best when it’s hitting. But sometimes it doesn’t hit.

Maybe we need a best crusty Italian bread thread. It ain’t easy to find them, but that looks great.
