LOL! Three yrs counting this one. A "conference" title year for Cincy. CUSA 3.0. That's your conference now! And UConn is ranked 5th in it.

ELITE!
Oh, you're counting this year. It's adorable that you think the regular season determines who is better.

And odd that you think you're better considering we played twice and went 1-1. And in the game we lost Napier played terribly, and Daniels didn't play at all, and Kirkpatrick went crazy from 3. And whatever team draws you in the tournament is going to watch tape of our second game because we put on a defensive clinic against you.

How about 5 of the last 7 CFB Titles and 5 Top 25 final rankings? Its football that drove you to CUSA 3.0. And unfortunately what will keep you here.

I actually have no probs with playing in this hoops conference. And it's my primary sport. But football is what drives it. And football is what will take Cincy out of it.

Do you guys really disagree that the bottom of the AAC is horrible?

It's bad, but it's not much worse than the Big East.

The difference is that the American has four dreadful teams whereas the Big East only has three.

The Big East is really, really weak in the middle. There's Nova at the top and then twelve miles of gaping open space to Creighton who has made their reputation on the fact that Nova never comes out of the locker room when they show up.

Then you have a muddle of marginal teams keeping each other afloat. It's like the old NFC Central except instead of black and blue, they're hitting each other with pillows.

When Cincy leaves you all can really commence the crying. Enjoy us while we're here.

Nice switch. Go to FB thread then. I'm sure you'll get all kinds of respect there and win over lots of UConn fans with your trolling.

I hope Cinci can use Oscar Robertson's 1960's success to get some elite recruits to join their program because y'all are going to need some serious help replacing Kilpatrick, Rubles and Jackson. I probably should have only mentioned Kilpatrick because he is your sole offense but they are your next 2 best players. The next few years might look ugly..

.-.
Just answering your question. 3 straight years now Cincy has been better in hoops. In CFB Cincy owns UConn. And that's what pays the bills. As a hoops fan. Not sure how I feel about it. But it is what it is. The best for the whole sports program.

The last time Cincy won a national championship the civil rights act didn't exist.

Blacks couldn't drink from the same water fountains or eat at the same restaurants.

It appears civil rights and Cincinatti basketball are inversely related.

We've already got better recruits lined up than UConn. And we simply have to look at the last 3 years to see that even our lower rated recruits are better.

We have two players coming in next year that are much more acclaimed than anyone who has sniffed Cinci since Born Ready scared off any program with an academic pulse.

And the last time UConn won a title. Teams like Butler and San Diego St were the powers of the day. Ancient history. Who's going to want to play in this conference if Cincy leaves. Think the conference UConn played in those civil rights days.

Looks like those football accolades have done Cincinnati wonders for their conference situation.

It's all cyclic. Cincy will once again be a national power and UConn wii be back in...what was it? Yankee league?

Serious question: what has Cinci won since it joined the old BE? I looked them up on Wikipedia but it said they sucked. No, just kidding. I didn't look them up. But they do suck. Have they won any hardware, pre-season or post, since CUSA days?
That would be no.

Your team loses four 23/24 year old players and you replace them a fringe top-100/125 recruit, a decent JUCO center and a mid-major prospect from Jersey. (Moore's marginal.) Connecticut has three players coming in, but just one of them, Daniel Hamilton (247 #13) , is better than your entire class.

In 2015, you have no recruits. UConn already has two top 40 recruits committed.

I guess you're counting Oscar Robinson in your recruiting class.

(You're really bad at this.)

Look guys. I know it's painful. To be looking up at Cincy year after year. Hopefully you'll adjust to it.

Please don't ever leave.

1963 was only yesterday but 3 years ago is ancient history. LMAO

Butler may not be a powerhouse, but they went to two straight national title games.

You guys beat Saracuse once when they had Fab Melo. Amazing.

Lol. Kilpatrick came in unrated and is better than your entire team. Cincy's loaded next year.

Cincy gets their regular 4 and 5 stars. But Cronin is a master at finding talent. And the more Cincy's rebuilt, the easier it's been getting.

Caupain is a future AA and our best frosh as a 3 Star. He's overshadowed Lawrence so far. Our 5 Star frosh. Shaq is a freak athlete 4 star soph. UConn will have no one to stop him after our seniors move on.

And Cincy is loaded now at Center with this recruiting class. Our new JUCO center will cause huge matchup probs for everyone. I think he may be better than our new 4 star Moore.

Get used to it fellas. Cincy fans thought it was going to be next year that we dominate. Not this year.
