A parent, AAU coach, former high school coach or player representative reaches out to a college coach about a player seeking a possible way out. The college coach responds by intrigue and subsequently gathering information. Neither party communicates directly until the release is granted (the player said so in the article) and once granted, the transfer process begins. I can almost guarantee this is how MOST transfers take place..

Not sure what Raoul is getting at, but he does this from time to time with particular programs. He's definitely not a UConn or Notre Dame fan, but I don't think he cares for SC or Tennessee either. A champion of the Big Ten and mid-majors...

I think you're right about his disdain for UConn and ND among others but I'm not sure he's making a derogatory remark as much as commenting that you rarely hear the actual story behind the transfer...........either way it seems that it was done above board so nothing to worry about

That's impressive Shades! Can't say that I've ever seen an 'oop, one handed catch and throwdown from women's bball players before. Made it look pretty easy too.

Belibi (Stanford commit) was dunking in games at age 15. She doesn’t even need an alley-oop pass to set up a dunk.

Washington Huskies

Just looking at UW's roster, I see Natalie Romeo is listed as a Sr. She disappeared from the roster listed on their official website at some point last year. She was obviously out all of last season, with some undisclosed medical condition, there was literally no info about her. There was some speculation she was no longer with the program. This seems to indicate she will return for one more season. Good news for the Dawgs, they could certainly use more perimeter shooting and scoring.

Now a day later UW has their non-conference schedule up. Some cupcakes, 2 tournaments w/ opponents TBD (Gulf Coast Showcase had some good teams last year)...but Ohio St. and Mississippi St. coming to Seattle. That's a huge upgrade to recent non-con schedules.

Well Duke is also in that Gulf Coast Showcase.... So we now know two teams involved

If enough people keep chiming in we'll get the whole field for Gulf Coast figured out!

Done!

The non-conference schedule begins to get a little tougher the following week at the Gulf Coast Showcase in Estero, Florida. The Bobcats will be pinned up against the likes of Duke, Texas, Michigan, Missouri, Washington, Ball State and Fordham. Duke and Missouri both were No. 5 seeds in last year’s NCAA tournament, while Texas (No. 2 seed in the Kansas City region), and Michigan (No. 7 seed in the Lexington region) also made the tournament.
