All leagues are intentionally at whatever number of members they have. The Big 12 will be able to play this angle until some Oklahoma State team that would get buried by the 4th best team in the SEC makes the playoff by skipping a conference championship and the other 4 will change the rules.

It's a bit interesting that the ACC ended up with more influence and 'power' than the Big 12 even though most years the Big 12 buries them on the field. Too much power in the Big 12 is tied up in Texas - and by keeping the other schools down it negatively impacts the conference.

I was listening to the same thing but he went on to say it could happen in 10-15 years too... ugh.

I didn't hear it. Thanks for the context. Ugh is right. Did he say that any moves could happen in the near future?
 
UC to the B12 may actually be a better long term move for UConn. The A isn't substantially better or worse with UC in it, though they are one of the best programs in it. It prevents the BC/SU block on UConn to the ACC if they need another team.

The guy does some podcast out of his house on realignment. Never listened before and won't be listening tonight.

Hell... they haven't come close to talking about UConn or CR.

The Dude spent a good 5 minutes whacking around Clay Travis and other "national media" for making fun of him.

How they got Jeremy Fowler to call in is amazing. (he may have stood them up because he was suppose to call in @ 2030)
