My agricultural understanding is that football post season revenues are shared with the conference the school is in. As are post season BB revenues but those are substantially "taxed" prior to distribution to fund a lot of NCAA programs. The football schools shielded their revenues from the NCAA. So the football shared revenues are a lot larger the the basketball shared revenues. Of course, shared revenues are only part of an accretion calculation. There are posters here who know a lot more about this than me. Have I got the basics right?
