America’s college athletic system is far too important to be jeopardized by short-term attempted “fixes” that do not address its long-term, systemic problems.
The notion of having one negotiated deal for college football would be a godsend for us assuming that every member got an equal share. There is no way the powers that be would ever allow that to happen. Even if a collectively negotiated contract would make them more money they would neither accept nor tolerate "lesser schools" earning equal revenue.
