What do you think UConn's record would be this year if UConn played BC's schedule with our roster:
Fordham, @Michigan St., @Stanford, Cal, @Pitt, Clemson, UConn,
@Louisville, Notre Dame, SMU, GT, @Syracuse?
Maybe 3 or 4 wins?
This year, UConn played a G5 schedule with 3 P4's sprinkled in. Two of the P4s, BC and Syracuse, are among the worst P4 schools this year. UConn is beating the G5s on the schedule because we have better players primarily due to higher spending than most G5s. We spend more on football than all 9 G5 opponents this year.
If UConn played a P4 schedule, we would have to spend more money for players and coaches to be competitive.
