Wow he was really dragging Jarred and based on what people at UConn are saying, but said Mike Burton values him so at least that's good.Interesting that Cully said that Mike Burton had leaked to him but told Cully to sit on it. Multiple leaks or did Burton leak to multiple podcasters?
He also took a crap all over Jerrod. "A prominent guy at UConn think he's a d.o.u.che."
(Cully is tough to listen to. He sounds like he's board listening to himself.)

If you're not a diehard, it is tough listen. Cully meanders all over the place. But he is good for one laugh out loud moment every episode. Last week he called former Yale coach Jack Siedlecki an "annoying bald bleep" when they coached together. Had me in stitches.Interesting that Cully said that Mike Burton had leaked to him but told Cully to sit on it. Multiple leaks or did Burton leak to multiple podcasters?

Is Jared annoying to anyone here? Thought so.Wow he was really dragging Jarred and based on what people at UConn are saying, but said Mike Burton values him so at least that's good.
For a second I thought you were saying Jared had over a million listens. I thinking that's great since he is (was?) one of us.He's got over a million subscribers on YouTube
Painful…. The first minute was like watching two guys play a drinking game. Not sure what the attraction is.If you're not a diehard, it is tough listen. Cully meanders all over the place. No Schuman does. But he does a lot of coaching breakdowns, I think he gets a lot of followers from that. For a second I thought you were saying Jared had over a million listens. I thinking that's great since he is (was?) one of us.
I can’t explain it but I found that whole episode very entertainingPainful…. The first minute was like watching two guys play a drinking game. Not sure what the attraction is.
It would work and it would be good for everyone involved, which is why it probably won't happen. Regular basketball games between old Big East rivals (UConn, Nova, GTown, Syracuse, Pitt, Louisville) would all be top notch draws, in addition to the obvious big matchups between the top Big East teams and UNC / Duke.
The football addition of UConn will obviously help us monetarily, but will also help teams like BC who's fan base is (not surprisingly) much smaller than the ACC predicted...
Just like Miami and BC for the ACC, we've both got to accept each other's warts to make the merger happen...We don’t need all of the Big East. Just the good programs.

So... us?We don’t need all of the Big East. Just the good programs.
If the ACC wants to cherry pick, I don't think they would grab Creighton over GTown. Historic rivalries, nation's capital, highly competitive academics, etc.Not really. If the ACC invites UConn, Marquette, Creighton, Villanova and St. John’s they aren’t saying no LOL.
Basketball-onlys would never do it despite it making sense. It would work and it would be good for everyone involved, which is why it probably won't happen. We're quickly approaching an era in college sports where they may not have a choice...Basketball-onlys would never do it despite it making sense.

But if they cherry pick, then it's not a merger. So long as it includes us, I wouldn't care about the rest...

K specifically mentions UConn. "We could let, not let, but Connecticut would have the opportunity to play football in our league."
The Big East has leverage here. K knows that the ACC is struggling while UConn is red hot. The Big East has MSG. No question cuse, bcu, pitt, louisville would benefit. Duke wants to be in NYC. A merger would really lock out all the other P conferences from northeast and east coast basketball. I think they'd have to lock in UNC somehow because otherwise, the ACC side isn't bringing much else to the table.
