Not true. Their media rights would be significantly decreased without us. This idea that the Big East was somehow selfless in inviting us is comical. They invited us back for their own salvation as an alternative to actually investing in themselves, particularly on the WBB side. We owe them nothing nothing.

I think everyone knows we are not going to stay in the BE forever, unless FB only conferences become a thing.

The BE has no incentive to give us a bigger piece of the pie if the end result of us leaving isnt going to change, they would only do it if they are able to increase the exit penalty to recoup some of the lost revenue.

Same applies to us, it behooves us to be a team player right now so that when the time comes to leave there are the most minimal of barriers in our way.

I am no fan of the current system with NIL. Having said that, I think DB is doing exactly the right thing with this approach. If you are goind to try to compete at the highest level of college athletics you need to be all in. Being a little pregnant is not going to work.

I applaud his commitment to a strategy and process to try to succeed. How UCONN and just about all the rest of college athletic departments will fund this is beyond my ability to understand, but onward we go.......

I am not an alumni. I just grew up in state and have been a hoops fan all along. But I agree with what Coach Mora said. I am tired of the disrespect and I love the passion to change it. For years there wasn’t an avenue to help but with NIL there is. I’ll be donating for the first time ever to support the football program.

I believe he wasn't counting the CFP first round as a bowl game. I think the quarterfinals is technically where they begin to count as bowls - i.e. Notre Dame and Georgia will play in the "CFP Quarterfinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl", while the first round was a home game for ND.
