Key tweets, and it's all gone to Hell.

Formality it seems. If Cox' info accurate about BYU/Cincy reps and media there and they get in then this was determined previous to this meeting.

Best case scenario is UT/Texas puts tons of pressure to add Houston and we get a chance as the 4th.

So at 12:12pm we had "consultants completing their presentations" and now we have 2 schools ready to be invited.

Okay.

There were other tweets stating the comment about actual UC reps being there was not correct.

Yup... Cox info wasn't accurate (again):

Cincinnati Enquirer reporter there...

Source: UC does NOT have a representative here in Dallas. (Not to worry. I don't believe any of the candidates do.)

Being reported that's is not the correct University of Cincinnati logo from the University of Cincinnati style guide that is normally used (secondary logo). This is.

Edit - and the picture no longer exists on his twitter page.

No announcement, just speculations. Tweet was meant to excite not to inform. Please don't jump to conclusions. We'll see at 5:30.

We'll see...
The logo used is a secondary brandmark, but it's not because of the lower case, As of October 2016, the brandmark uses all uppercase, but it's still a secondary logo because the interlocking UC and Cinncinnati are on the same "line" whereas the primary logo has the UC above the text

Right at the moment, the car wash dude's postings on B12 realignment looks no less wishy " washy" than any others ( haha!)

Guys were good

So now we are at the point where the work-study print dude is breaking CR news?
He's not on work study, he's a graphic arts major and that is his mid-term project.

Yup - grabbed wrong style guide url... thx for correcting.

So is it the correct logo to use for this or not?

There would be nothing unusual about printing up something ahead of time to be ready. Every year there are thousands of t shirts and hats printed for the losers of various sporting events just in case they won and they were needed.

the only thing that changed URL wise was they added underscores to the pdf filename.... the fact that the old one is still available on their site means someone isnt doing a great job of cleanup

The wrapping paper picture has been 100% debunked as incorrect. Wrong logo, user took it down and admitted it was just speculative on his end.

This tweet is rather interesting though:

Very, very odd that the commissioner would invite a member of the media in to witness the internal meetings.

Yeah, it made Bohl's a little uncomfortable to get actual news.

It's a current logo, but per their brand page its only supposed to be used "In extreme situations where space is limited or constrained, special use options are approved on a case-by-case basis by the Branding Review Committee."

Even odder to me that a media member offered such access at an event he's covering on-site would decline it, particularly for that reason. If something feels untoward, there might be a story there and an opportunity to break something.

Its not the wrong logo though, just the newest version that only came out this month

Yeah, that's what I meant by wrong. If the university actually printed that, there's a 0% chance they'd have printed it with old branding standards.
