Key tweets, and it's all gone to Hell.

Et tu, jostar? Et tu?

Hope is lost. I wash my hands of this madness.

Sorry, I held out as long as I could. The thing is I was replying to a post, not a tweet, so how could I post a reply in the Key Tweet Discussion when I wasn't replying to a tweet? If you know what I mean...

I would delete it but I can't.

Also, there will be live pre game interviews with players via periscope.

Jim Delany confirmed negotiations have started in regard to the Big Ten's new media rights deal. He said nothing more on the topic.
Did you remember to bring our audition tape Jim?

Why is full quote less promising? A cincy fan asks about Big 12 expansion and an ESPN reporter whose job is to cover Big 12 says Uconn is strongest contender and the school he keeps hearing as a favorite. Sounds like one of the best (and legit) tweets we've gotten so far.

I just read the BYU/Cincy "obvious favorites" part as a buzzkill. Not sure of the full context though. I hope you're right.

Wow. 2 million above Rutgers, and a whopping 20 million above the next closest non-P5 (Cincy). Just imagine if we had a tv contract commensurate with our importance in the athletics world. Soon, I hope...
Not true. We hauled in $45 million, and the other $27 million was subsidized by students or donors. Aka, not good or sustainable.

Before we run the tweet off the rails, remember that schools are required to report finances differently.

Not specific to just UConn, but what UConn must report as a subsidy another school may report as revenue.
