What did Arike say to Geno that drew a technical foul? Any body know?
I think that is just what Lou was talking about in the interview she gave Friday? It feels good to make them hate you!One thing I always admired about Muffett is that she always seemed successful at instilling a warrior mentality in her players. But playing hard and hating losing is one thing. A lack of self-discipline and self-control is another thing entirely. Whether it's Arike, or Mabrey, it always seems one of them exhibits a fairly shocking failure of comportment that devolves into dirty and unsportsmanike play...which makes whipping their butts feel soooo much better!
I wonder if Kobe was watching ?
Watch the beginning of the time out prior to the altercation. Arike dropped a huge F bomb on the way into the huddle.
She asked him politely to be quiet, or maybe not so politely! What did Arike say to Geno that drew a technical foul? Any body know?
Are you secretly Captain Louis Renault? If so ,this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship!I’m shocked to see a lack of class from a player on a Muffet McGraw-coached team.
And by “shocked” I mean “couldn’t be less surprised.”
I think that’s usual for coaches leaving the courtLooked like Geno had a police escort getting off the court.

Especially when she knows she is in a nationally televised game! And yet in any future game, ESPN will not mention it.Kid?! Puh-lease. She is a 21 year old woman, and her behavior was far from acceptable.
sounds like Arike acknowledged her behavior and that it was wasn't the best representation of her post game interview. That's admirable for a young woman, hope she learns from itEspecially when she knows she is in a nationally televised game! And yet in any future game, ESPN will not mention it.
Yeah I'd like to know more about that. ND fans saying Geno baited Arike, but apparently the announcers missed it because they, or the sideline reporter, should have been close enough to hear the exchange.

It wasn't the ND fans saying it! She said that in the Postgame!
"Ogunbowale said Auriemma masterfully baited her into the technical but was disappointed in herself for responding.
“He said some words and I fed right into it and said something back,” Ogunbowale said. “As a senior leader, I definitely can’t do that. I have to keep my composure in times like that.” "

Well crud, I can only link to the McGraw Bench statements..... AO Quote and discussionLink?
I probably need to apologize to my neighbor for all the times I yelled "Call the !@#$% game!"The announcers missed large portions of the game. i wish they would do the game, and not try to entertain each other. This trio together is lacking concentration. They only need two people with the microphones.
