Anna reminds me of Diana. Her sister is playing in the U.S. (actually sitting out a year after transferring from Liberty to Utah). I hope Anna decides to come to the U.S. as well. Fingers crossed big time!!Highlights of Anna Makurat. She reminds me a bit of D in her release and her passing. Would be a great addition

Article in today’s Journal Inquierer about recruitment of Anna Makurat, 6 foot combo out of Poland. Also mentions Nika Muhl. Both could be of some serious help next season. Makurat currently plays with Rebecca Allen and Emma Cannon of the WNBA

Makurat is very talented. Article makes it seem like if she is coming to America - it will be Connecticut. Please Anna!

She is good. Class of 2019. Will be Charlotte this weekend for NBA all star weekend. What's the skinny on Nika Muhl?
Thanks, Coco. She is good. Class of 2019. Will be Charlotte this weekend for NBA all star weekend.
She is European likely has to decide between going pro and college in US.

Mixed feelings. My limited view of Reese is that she is highly skilled and brings energy where ever she plays. The devil on my other shoulder remembers how KLS used the size of the SC guards to her advantage last night. Not many 6'3" guards like Katy Lou but many 6'ers that would take Reese inside every play.If Reese commits to UCONN I will definitely continue to question her recruitment until I see a major change in her effort and attitude especially the poor body language. I also believe there are many more skilled players in the class at that position (Sf/PF), like Daniels, Marshall, Ware, Edwards, & Bessoir.
Is she leaning towards UCONN or another school?Paige Bueckers had 26 points, 6 assists, and 6 steals Monday night (2/11).

Ohio State? Why?UConn, Louisville, South Florida, Ohio State, and Oregon.
Ohio State? Why?
She is 18 years old playing in a league that include some WNBA players. Averaging 8.9 points, 3.2 assists and 3.2 rebounds in 23 minutes a game is pretty good.Makurat must have a very good floor game because her points per game average is pretty low. The rest of her game must be pretty complete. I hope it is because UConn will need as much scoring as possible next season. They already have a guard who not yet efficient on offense in Coombs.
Thanks for the information. If she is 6' then that also helps. She is 18 years old playing in a league that include some WNBA players. Averaging 8.9 points, 3.2 assists and 3.2 rebounds in 23 minutes a game is pretty good.
She at least 6' and capable of playing positions 1-3.Thanks for the information. If she is 6' then that also helps.
So happy to see Geno making tough decisions now on recruits.I wonder of signing Anna M would have any impact on those two other "pretty good" 2020 guards UConn is kind of waiting on....

What decision do you believe Geno has made?So happy to see Geno making tough decisions now on recruits.
Offering Makurat a spot before she has ever visited. What decision do you believe Geno has made?
While that was once a rule of his I think Geno may have adjusted this philosophy some years ago.Offering Makurat a spot before she has ever visited.
