I agree -- if UConn pics were posted on the ND or Tennessee boards the poster would be run out of Dodge.

you're certainly welcome to your opinion but I'm not so sure that everyone would agree.............and I'm hardly the only person on the BY with an agenda...........

exactly.........and what are they afraid of? No confidence in their own program's ability to recruit? That's certainly not an issue on the BY or so I thought...........
 
And why so many? Why would any fan want to see multiple pics and tweets of a recruit wearing a rival's jersey? I think most ND fans would tell you they would not want to see pics of Boston, Fudd, Bueckers or any other prized recruits wearing a UConn jersey, and I wouldn't blame them. It's beyond me why you would keep posting pics of Boston in a ND jersey on the Boneyard.

I get that this board doesn't want to be like the Tennessee or ND boards which are not respected boards. But maybe it's time to show just a little UConn pride around here. It's the repetitive nature of these posts. One photo, okay. But then another. I'm sure there are more in the queue. Where's the value in that?

This board is universally respected because it is far more open to discussing opposing views on UConn and all things WBB and it doesn't edit what others may post unless it's offensive speech..........while it's always great to extol the virtues of UConn WBB, I think a site that treat's it's team with kid gloves 24 hours a day regardless of the circumstances would be a pretty boring place........

You didn't answer UConn Cat's question: Why post multiple pics of the same recruit?
 
Agree with UConn Cat.
Additionally, UConn or any other school cooling on a recruit happens. SB is not a must have player. Geno is GM and Coach, in pretty good hands. Eleven national championships and still second guessed.

UConn got two of the top 5 players in the country last year lol....

Don’t freak out just yet. Wait until Jones, Amihere, Boston and Horston commit. If none of them commit to UConn then you have more than enough reason to lose it.

Several schools don’t have a commitment for next season (South Carolina being one of them)... while others (Maryland, Mississippi State, Ohio State etc.) have 3 or 4... it ain’t over just yet!

The irony here is that SC, UConn, Notre Dame and Co. are currently waiting for the same players for the most part... so some of us are going to be very happy soon and some of us not so much. Personally, I’m hoping for more success this cycle.

OMG - really??? Boston is coming to UConn. And if she doesn't, at least Jones and/or Horston is. Maybe all 3. And that's just the '19 class. At least one of Bueckers and Fudd are coming here. The sky is not falling, dude - somebody needs to walk you back from the ledge. Or maybe you should just jump.

I hear you, CZ, but this wouldn't be the Boneyard without a hefty dose of hand-wringing angst. If Boston heads elsewhere someone can cue The Chantels singing "(S)he's Gone" and we can all have a good cry.
 
I hope the chances that "She's Gone" are as great as the chances as "He's (Geno) Gone", and you know he's not going anywhere. Seal the deal Geno.

well then feel free to call me crazy (sorry......you won't be the first) because I find it quite an interesting subject......... sometimes frustrating and confusing but ultimately rewarding...........and best of all, up to now UConn has been unbelievably good at it......

Talk to me come signing day.. no way Buckers or Fudd are coming to UCONN. They will be going to the same school. They are really close like sisters so that is a double package. Notre Dames to lose.. all these players played all summer and creatied a special bond and ofcourse the experience playing with each other.. sadly UCONN will be lucky to land one of the top players..the tide is turning and “Parity” has now taken over!!

As I recall, 2 years ago MW looked really good in an ND Jersey, so much so that a number of BY’ers were convinced that she was going to end up in South Bend, right up until she announced that she was heading to Storrs.

This past year many were convinced that CW was heading to SC and ONO to Duke right up until they were heading to UConn.

Yeah you’re prolly right - this is the beginning of the end. No more NC’s for UConn. Ever. It’s over. We’ll be lucky if ONO & CW even stick around after they realize Geno’s never going to get a top recruit again. It was a nice run while it lasted, but Geno and UConn, by losing those 2 (OT FF) games in the last 3 years, have just lost all their luster...

Just a gut feeling.. both Fudd and Buckners went to the ND basketball camp.. been on a few visits.. last years final four Buckners was seen with a Notre Dame shirt extremely excited.. the fact Fudd and Sam Brunelle are both from Virginia and Sam Brunelle at one point was trained by Fudds dad and the fact Fudd was at Sams announcement to the Irish.. all the signs are pointed it’s Irish to lose. Notre Dame in my opinion has had more of a impact on these players then the Huskies. this might turn out to be muffits biggest class to come to Notre Dame

I know twins that went to 2 different schools both top schools in sports .so with Skype and all other forms of social media they can stay close
