...if he was a UConn alum. Because he should've been.
EDIT: In case the tweet's not showing up for some people, here's the text of it:
TremontWaters on Kemba: " I actually have a picture of when he was at UConn and I was a fan. I’m not going to lie, I was definitely a fan. I was cheesing from...
First time this season for me to sit down to watch a weeknight doubleheader.
LSU at Kentucky
Duke at Louisville
Interested in watching the two from CT.
I finally watched him one of LSU games so since he been there. I never really cared to watch because I really wanted the kid at Uconn. I must say, he can flat out shoot the ball. He is small, but he can just flat out get his shot. He moves well without the ball as well.
Does anyone have insights into just what happened with UConn and TremontWaters? I seem to recall the coaches spending a lot of time on him starting in eighth grade, yet he originally committed to Georgetown and then reopened recruiting after Thompson was fired.
How do you go from being...
Its time to say my State university and I will lhave a splashing history of NCAA wins.
Thank you KO and UConn will bearing with me, and to the Uconn hoarde, "Watch us, the sky's the limit"!
Believe, ITS UCONN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...right back in...
The Huskies will remain in the hunt for another piece or two this spring, but the one name that keeps coming up is TremontWaters, who was originally set to attend Georgetown in the fall. Last month, the top-50 guard backed off his pledge to the Big East program, and ever...
Back to TremontWaters, he's discussed in this article: The gentrification of college hoops. Turns out he's played high school basketball for 8 years, due to starting in 6th grade and repeating both 6th and 12th grades.
I'm glad we're getting MAL.
TremontWaters, out of New Haven (South Kent School) has narrowed his list down to 7, and UConn leads the way. Currently ranks 31st on the ESPN top 100. Highlights from last year:
http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=%2F&gl=US#/watch?v=Eu1mVMJsQf8. If this kid hits a growth spurt it's pretty much a given he will be big time. He's always torn it up on the youth scene and scoring 26 in his debut at South Kent is damn impressive.
