    Best wings in CT

Been a fan of Archie's since the 80s when I visited the Willow Street birthplace. Not a big fan of chocolate, peanut butter, tapioca wings, although my son loves these different flavors. To me Archie's are the true wings. By the way, Ray Ray and Rip weren't bad either!

    Choke is a mild assessment..

for what happened tonight. At all levels, coaches, players etc.. The perception nationwide with ESPN running last five minutes time and time again. Can we get to the tourney? Yes. But this hurts.

    Did anyone notice

I don't understand why Kevin doesn't realize that Amidah's presence is critical to our defensive game. Sure we played okay against weaker teams, but against better teams, we have to have this guy on the floor. My final rant tonight.
  16. S

    Did anyone notice

We lost our ability to block shots underneath. Therefore they could drive, force the defense and pass outside for open three. Something they could not do all nite. Brimah's presence is huge! Why pull him him unless he's fouling out? Plus why Gibbs running the offense all night? Not his...

    Did anyone notice

that as soon as we pulled Brimah, despite his offense issues with broken hand et al, we fell apart? Nuf said

Sad to say temple has our number

No, this had everything to do with coaching. Love KO but maybe he'd be better in LA
  19. S

    So happy for Temple

they earned it. Far as us, poor coaching. Expect better of KO.

    I am shocked

Good lord, is Amida that important to our success? I don't' think so, but I could be wrong.
  22. S

    I am shocked

by this team's performance. Combination of veteran and young players, all with great skills, playing this late in the season this poorly. Love Kevin, but is this bad coaching? No answer....

What is up with this team?

only saw last few minutes but are 3s our only option now?

This loss is all on Ollie's shoulders

Couldn't agree more guys. KO better get the guys together soon. Otherwise NIT is our future.

Unfortunately we're no better than Rutgers

Hey, I love Kevin. Been a Uconn fan for almost 50 years. Understand loss of Brimah is huge, but coach needs to get more from his kids. Not the end of the world, but they are better than this. Initial post may have been a tad over the top, but appreciate the feedback

Unfortunately we're no better than Rutgers

Should have won this game by 20. Temple has been terrible. No inside looks. Settled for threes. Have seen this time and time again from MAC teams already this year.

Think coughin's days are over. They will not fire him but time for him to leave. Was just watching the wrap up show and they correctly said that this is the fourth time this season this team has had the chance to separate itself from yhe rest of the division and failed to deliver the effort...

The Official That Taste of UConn Game Thread

Thought it was interesting that Brimah was not used in the middle to feed perimeter shooters. We had no one who could do that. Also agree that they were much more effective defenders, blocking or altering shots with no fouls. Seems like we fouled every time we defended.
