Should we be concerned that of all the schools listed in Dodd's article, UCONN is the only one in black, with all the others in blue linking them to somewhere else? (j/k)
I was somewhat surprised that he seems rather high on us, for once. If you're going to take us for football, you don't leave our BB programs behind, which does make perfect sense. He claims they're interested in only a 12-team BB conference, which means two football-only members and two for all sports. If you accept the premise that we're one of the four, and agree with his analysis, then we would be in for all sports. BYU for football only makes a lot of sense since you don't have to deal with their no play on Sundays rule. He even mentions Boise State for football only, but I think that's a stretch. Their stadium sucks, and I doubt they'll expand it just for B12 football. The other thing is they deliver very little in terms of market share.
The countdown to 9/1 has begun!
