OT: World Cup 2018

The Nigerian guy dove AND Fifa needs to start calling that to put an end to that both arms all the way around nonsense.

Refs in a tough spot.

So call a bunch of innocuous ones. I get FIFA's position, but big game changing, very borderline calls are bull spit.

True, but no way you can sub him for Aguero. A moment of brilliance could come at any time...

Reminds me a bit of LeBron. He's walking all around the pitch, even when a man on his team has the ball around him.

But then boom he'll make a run, dead sprint from walk so quick defenders can't react.

Penalty allowed Iceland to tie it up as well. Both games 1-1.

That's kind of his game though. Saw an article recently that described much of which I long suspected. Interesting read for after the match.

Messi Walks Better Than Most Players Run

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLELOLEOLEOLEOLEOLEOLEOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Messi actually should have gone down there. That's the problem with soccer. You stay up, and you won't have a chance for a call...

Bizarrrrrro ... network broadcasting ARG-NGA game switched score back to 1-1 for a minute+ ... huhhhh? Then, back to 2-1. Go figure!

Good for Argentina and all, but that was a penalty on Rojo.

The hands? I get why someone could call that, but it should never be called. If it's not deliberate, I don't ever believe there should be a call.

That pretty much takes out the vast majority of deflections.
