That's ridiculous. A vote for Anthony is not a vote against LeBron. It merely means that Anthony deserved the award more. There is a huge difference between this and keeping a player off the MVP ballot altogether like what happened to Pedro Martinez in 1999.

A vote for one player is a vote against every other player. How could it be any different? You either voted for LeBron (or anyone else) or you voted against him.

This is something that receives nowhere near the credit it deserves. The only comparable run was when Moses Malone took the 81 Rockets to the finals. The above roster, with a middle of the road three instead of Lebron wins 30 games in an NBA season, 33 if things fall right.

Out of curiosity, why wasn't this question asked last Wednesday?
 
I have no reason to, but I feel oddly good about the Knicks' chances tonight.

If history is any guide, this means we won't show up at all.
 
They don't deserve to win this series.

I am dead serious. Paul George- especially with his contract- is a FAR BETTER basketball player. Carmelo is a volume shooter, who makes his teams worse.

If he drove the lane more often, he'd get calls. But he doesn't. He jacks low-efficiency shots. I don't think tonight is on him- he stunk in the fourth, but was magnificent for three quarters. But overall? Can't win with this team. Can't do it.

Donnie Walsh built a team. And they blew it up for a chucker. Now the window is closed until 2017ish. Take a look at what Donnie is building in Indiana and what's they're building in Denver. THATS how you win.

BTW, the last 30 seconds of that game were embarrassing for the Knicks organization. The team literally gave up.

Melo is the reason this team got this far. He did everything he could to keep us in the game.

You do realize Melo has virtually no consistent second option right? You can preach team all you want but if other players aren't even attempting shots in the fourth quarter of an elimination game then I absolutely expect Melo to take them.
