Where is my daily Knicks update?

It's such uncharted territory for the Knicks that I figured there had to be something to hear about.

Not really, I remember Ewing's Knicks going up against Jordan's Bulls and Reggie's Pacers in multiple semi finals and conference championships.

It's the second round, what's there to update?

1-0 Pacers. I shouldn't have to go to nba.com for that up date, I should get that from you

This board is insufferable in the offseason.

People just don't expect you to drop the torch or disappear when things aren't rosy. Its like being the opposite of Freescooter.

Despite what people think the Knicks need Amare he is the one guy that can get you easy buckets and get to the line and probably the teams top FT shooter. The Pacers are very good at defending the 3 and will sit on their 3 point shooters and body up Melo.

The joys of being a UConn fan...the NY/BOS pissing match in all pro sports.

It's early in the series. I'm waiting for a STAT sighting.

I'm a fan, win or lose.

"... based on his importance to the New York Knicks, who, if you haven’t been paying attention the past decade, have failed to be relevant."
Yes, vote against LeBron because the Knicks are usually terrible. Makes perfect sense.
That's ridiculous. A vote for Anthony is not a vote against LeBron. It merely means that Anthony deserved the award more. There is a huge difference between this and keeping a player off the MVP ballot altogether like what happened to Pedro Martinez in 1999.

A vote for one player is a vote against every other player. How could it be any different? You either voted for LeBron (or anyone else) or you voted against him.

Only if you have a single vote (i.e. presidential election). Not when you have 10 weighted votes.

Right, but it's weighted, so it counts more. Not really worth arguing, I guess

Apropos of nothing, Lebron - as a twenty-two year old - brought this team to the NBA finals:

- Shannon Brown
- Daniel Gibson
- Drew Gooden
- Larry Hughes
- Zydrunas Ilgauskas
- Damon Jones
- Dwayne Jones
- Donyell
- Ira Newble
- Sasha Pavlovic
- Scot Pollard
- Eric Snow
- Anderson Varejao
- David Wesley
This is something that receives nowhere near the credit it deserves. The only comparable run was when Moses Malone took the 81 Rockets to the finals. The above roster, with a middle of the road three instead of Lebron wins 30 games in an NBA season, 33 if things fall right.

Yeah, about bumping threads...a good rule of thumb is don't bump threads.

It's annoying.

Hey, I just want my Knicks update. Sorry if that offends any curmudgeons out there.

Out of curiosity, why wasn't this question asked last Wednesday?

I have no reason to, but I feel oddly good about the Knicks' chances tonight.

If history is any guide, this means we won't show up at all.

They don't deserve to win this series.

Basketball is played at two ends.

Oh, ok, so THIS is the guy Cincy thought they were getting in Lance Stephenson. What a series.
