Back to the topic on hand:

As a true freshman, he was a DE who had a bunch of 15 yard penalties for late hits and unsportsmanlike conduct. I liked his aggression although he never should have been on the field, but back then, we had no one else.

I was surprised when he was moved to TE. He got some run last year, barely anything this year. I wish him luck.

One career catch and that was for a TD…that’s cool.

Wish him the best, we are lowkey very deep at TE.

He was our best blocking TE in 2023 and played a lot for us. I think the improvement of Hansen and the recovery from his injury by Honig made Harris our third option this year.
Having a solid 3 deep there is not a bad thing and with the pickup from NCST we should be set for a solid TE group.

Dominic Toy was in before Harris. He was really our 4th string

Hated seeing the Welliver update.. hated that... Was hoping to see him blow up here... Now we'll see it from afar (kinda like what Nebrich did when he left us for Fordham... kid had a pretty good career there)

smh...

on the flipside... the floodgates are starting to re-open in the portal again... so, we should see another portal QB (please not a another PWO... we'd be regressing if that happened... again)

He's exactly right. It's going to take leadership like this to fully address these issues. A seasoned guy like Mora who, frankly, is near the end of his career and coaching a program like UCONN that is not in the national spotlight, is probably the right type of person to spearhead this.

At the end of the day, college athletics was originally establised for the benefit and development of the student athlete. At the highest realms of college athletics we could not possibly be farther away from that objective than we presently are. There is some really bad stuff going on and I suspect we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg.
