Oh, she attends Catholic school? ;):D I was aware of Coach Jeff's interest. As for Kentucky...geesh, I'd give that "new and improved" vow a year (or three) before
going near that place. I have absolutely no idea if ND is interested in this player, but I like her game. Would be interested in hearing your take on her when you see her play.

Maybe I'm reading too much into the 5 clovers but I think it's a currently recognized 5-star in the 2017. I hope it's Megan Walker, but probably not seeing as she just had a home visit with UCONN.

Gilbert will likely end up as top-35 recruit, but she's not currently recognized as a 5 star player. I know, ESPN's rankings aren't complete yet but still..

Amazing how multi-media -- and this new NCAA regulation regarding use of tweets, etc -- has added a whole new supply chain of things to blog on!
Teaser posts from colleges, pictures of coaches visiting recruits (three ND coaches in Texas! Geno in Va!)! And we thought the late summer/early fall would be slow! :D

I swear Gilbert used to be #10 on ESPN's rankings. For what it's worth, she is #14 and a 4.5 star player with Prospects Nation.

They badly need to update and expand their rankings. I would have thought they would have had a top 100 for 2017 and expanded 2018 rankings out months ago.

I distinctly remember Ms. Gilbert being around 10 or 11 at one point, as well. And I also have wondered why the 2017 ratings have not been expanded now that the process is clearly is into the next cycle.

For what it's worth, someone on the ND Board was on campus that weekend and wandered into the ND Basketball Offices. He didn't see/talk to any coaches but asked a staffer if there were any on-campus visits and he reported that the staffer said, "not this weekend." The B-Ball team was at the Nevada-ND football game and posted several pictures...everyone in them were current team members. Sometimes the visitors hang with the team at games.

Still two more games this month...and we've all read that Walker/Westbrook are due in Sept. 24th.

We'll see.....

Charlie--excuse my ignorance--(if we ignore the stipend ) what "financial aid" does a Scholarship player require?

Dan Olson and Susan Arth (the HoopGurlz staff) need help. The 2017 rankings should've been completed by now and a lot of the schools need their committed lists updated.
