Take this FWIW but I'm hearing 2 things: Gtown is in front by a lot and he is not coming here.
I am indifferent on Waters. The kid is talented so I will never be disappointed when we add talent. But there is enough that surrounds this kid, that I don't see a long, productive future here. Also, he makes our only strength, stronger. Doesn't truly address a need. We can win with the backcourt we have. In other words, I don't care either way.
So did Roscoe. I don't think he has the speed to play the three either. Have it your way and good luck.
Met a source today who said that UConn is a very strong possibility for Tremont

looks like western Kentucky according to crystal ball predictions, but id rather have the Anderson guy would be good depth, Looks like waters may have issues with pt.The only definite in this whole thing is that someone is going to get kasongoed

you have a good point. I thinks what ever is meant to happen will happenTremont is a nice, bright kid who has a father wise enough to take all this stuff off his shoulders until his basketball season ended (or beyond)
You can be suspicious of that, read anything you want into or even dis him for it, but it is what I would do for my son.
My guess is he wants a college highly rated for basketball and academics. We check off his boxes but not in a way he would like(ie. Duke)
We meet his needs but aren't his preference (safety school). I hopehedoesn't get an offer from his top tier.
Wow a well thought out, mature poat on the boneyard. Who wouldve thunk it lokyou have a good point. I thinks what ever is meant to happen will happen
I told you crystal ball predictions, Western KentuckyLook everyone is hearing totally different things. You don't have to name your source but if you're not a known poster on this board like 99 tcf zionn etc you should at least have to say how your source is at all connected. This is getting ridiculous.
I didn't specifically mean you. Lots of people have weighed in.I told you crystal ball predictions, Western Kentucky
Now with Anderson coming we will be loaded with guards. I have no information but I just don't see Waters coming here. It would be weird but he may recommit to Georgetown because it may be the best fit for him.If we end up with Waters it's probably gonna be after he transfers from wherever
It's honestly shocking to me that our fan base wants to compete with the relevant programs for titles most years but then still holds idealogies like this. If UConn ever hopes to win anything of value in the postseason, we will need to be able to convince a top 30 kid to sign up to compete with a nobody like Anderson. To say we will not get Tremont because of this commitment is basically the same as conceding that UConn will never be back in the title pickture. I've said this dozens of times but look at how our direct peers accumulate, and retain talent. Now with Anderson coming we will be loaded with guards. Thats oddly relieving.Hearing UConn and waters are over or cooled off. Staff is focusing on big boys...

Retention has not been an issue at UConn - and don't look now but transferring may have become the thing to do now in college basketballIt's honestly shocking to me that our fan base wants to compete with the relevant programs for titles most years but then still holds idealogies like this.
