Yeah sorry – wrote ACL, meant Achilles' tendon. The way he went down looked like non-contact, and I didn't see his ankle roll or anything. When that happens it's usually tendon/ligament damage.

I don't see him as a winner, he went to too many high schools in the past few yrs. What will he do in western kentucky when Mitchell Robinson leaves after this yr. Looks like a transfer or me first guy. Did okay but not above average today in the Jordan game

I do believe it happens. I have heard second hand stories myself. I won't pretend to know the Ali situation. I simply disagree with your assertion that Waters is using UConn as leverage. This idea that Tremont has basically no options besides UConn is preposterous. He doesn't need to list us for leverage, he could call almost any team and express interest and they would try to find a spot for him. It seems pretty clear to my feeble mind that Tremont is listing us because we are a backup option for him and he is hoping to get a legit offer from a more premiere program.

I won't argue over semantics. It seems we are on the same side of the spectrum. Since you already have skin in the game( eating a hat) will you agree that if he goes to WKU, it wasn't because he wanted to be a hilltopper or whatever their name is?
For what it's worth, I do think he finally ends up at Duke. But I actually will be more surprised if he ends up at UConn than WKU.

I've already prepared my narratives for either outcome.

If he commits to Duke or Kansas or even Western Kentucky he's a pampered, self-obsessed millennial who milks every ounce of attention he can get.

If he commits to UConn he's a kid who relishes the spotlight, somebody who is a confident mother duck____, the type of guy who wants you to see him before he kills you. He doesn't brake for convention and he lives to be rejected just because he needs something to do. He never wanted to go to Duke or Kentucky or Kansas, he was waiting for them to pass on him so he'd feel less guilty about shoving the knife down their throat later.
