every kid wants to play he could sit on the bench on better teams are u serious?
I want to see how long you can go without getting a single like.

They already let Ewing make his pitch, and maintained their ask of Tremont's release. He's not going to Georgetown. One less school to worry about. Here's a hot take, TW re-commits to Georgetown following the Ewing hire.
Is that based off of any info, or just your take? Here's a hot take, TW re-commits to Georgetown following the Ewing hire.

Normally I'd agree with you, but you'd think after Ewing met with him and tried to convince him to stay there'd be at least one whisper of Georgetown. Everything seems to be UConn or Duke for himHere's a hot take, TW re-commits to Georgetown following the Ewing hire.
what is the point?I want to see how long you can go without getting a single like.
A hot take, is by definition, a bold take or opinion. Is that based off of any info, or just your take?

Maybe it's just me, but I can't see Vital asking for his release. He committed here ~1 year ago and since that point (even if Waters committed) more playing time as opened up for him. Just wouldn't make sense to me
Louisville was also an option for him. He's not going to transfer higher than that. I suppose if he wanted to drop down. I don't think he leaves if we bring in a guard. He's a good player, tough kid, and we have a ton of minutes. If we win a lot of these 'minutes' problems are much less of a big dealOnly thing that could make sense to me is that since Vital's UNLV commitment was shaken up at the last minute, maybe he originally planned on only joining UConn as stopgap of some sort, since it's his home state and KO convinced him we needed a guard for that year. Is that possible? I have no idea.
Are you Russ's little brother?every kid wants to play he could sit on the bench on better teams are u serious?
That's true, I didn't think of that. That sounds pretty reasonable actually. Regardless he exceeded any of my expectations, and I assume any of the staff's expectations so I hope he stays here for all 4 years.Only thing that could make sense to me is that since Vital's UNLV commitment was shaken up at the last minute, maybe he originally planned on only joining UConn as stopgap of some sort, since it's his home state and KO convinced him we needed a guard for that year. One possible positive and look how the Boneyard changes. Figuring out how to keep players happy is right before your keyboard.
Just have a good season and when that happens most players don't focus on minutes but how they helped. And most likely the coaches are more upbeat making the all around experience better.
a big dude who would be bent over hyperventilating if he tried to go up and down the way UConn likes to play. I seriously hope he is working on his conditioning like his life depends on it (or at least his basketball career). Like fleud, he is the signing that I do not get at all.
I want Waters for a number of reasons but maybe most of all because he can step in on day one and shoot. I love every guard that's come through here to varying degrees, but MAL in my mind would have been a poor man's Adams/AG - athletic but may take a year or two to really get comfortable shooting from deep. Having Adams and AG be the uber athletic guard paired with Waters and Vital as the savvy shooting guard would make me as optimistic for next year as anyone on this board can be.
I like shooters too. We can talk all we want about defense but our big problem last year was we couldn't score - had very long droughts of no FGs.

Boneyard specialtyWay over thinking it.
I have no idea where all of these Vital wanting his release rumors came from. The only thing I saw was a tweet from like Borges saying he was weighing his options.
And at the end of the day it seems like he has bad info because Vital literally said himself "why does everybody think I'm transferring"
Way over thinking it.
IU's Blackmon, Roberts, and Bryant all declared for the draft without agents. Should be an interesting wait
