I would guess NC State.Maybe she's headed home to North Carolina.

I would guess NC State.
Thought I read where we needed another guard? She is skilled.
It's not hard to imagine it's already known there is mutual interest, because of back channel communications. Not her in particular, just in general. If a player enters the portal and already knows where they are going to go, somehow they had to find out there was a place waiting for them at their new school.Anyone know how this works? Does the player then reach out to the teams in which she is interested?
I have always assumed it mean't the player would initiate or choose who they want to talk with instead of being bombarded by the entire country to come to their school.Anyone know how this works? Does the player then reach out to the teams in which she is interested?
So did Angel Reese. She also said she “was” committed to SC.
I remember hearing her on media day with dreams of being freshman of the year. She did get some minutes in the tournament but I get it.
I think it's a combination of both of these. She had big aspirations and you can't really blame her after winning some national awards and leading the country in scoring to being low on the depth chart. She was behind defensively to start the season and really couldn't buy a basket. I can see why as a star player she might have been eyeing other options.I wonder if her 3 game tournament suspension by Dawn had anything to do with her decision?
Come on Mdoggie. Don't you remember she was adamant about not wanting to play for UConn when she was in high school? It would surprise me if she has changed her mind.
I think now she wants to beat South Carolina ...She said she wants to beat Uconn. Not play with them.

..jmhoShe changed her mind. She said she wants to beat Uconn. Not play with them.
I’ll take both if they’re coachable. I have know idea.So did Angel Reese.
Actually, she accomplished her goal, sort of. Now she’s going to need a new goal. She changed her mind.

Play at the WCBB Mecca!Actually, she accomplished her goal, sort of. Now she’s going to need a new goal.![]()
Perhaps you missed where we’ve gone over at already. Perhaps you missed that she’s not in HS anymore. Perhaps you missed how these players are changing their minds like changing socks. Perhaps?Perhaps you missed the now locked thread where she said she had no interest in Uconn while she was in high school.
She actually added UConn to her finalists well after she stated that she wanted to play against them. Teenagers. Don’t expect them to make sense.Interesting that she had UConn in her top 12 in high school, but later said she would never play with them.View attachment 75606
She already did and didn’t like it.Play at the WCBB Mecca!
She could work on getting better. That was another option.Staley's two big system works well enough on offense (especially when you have a Wilson or Boston inside), but a slasher with limited 3-point range like Rivers is always going to struggle to get buckets in the half court. I get her desire to leave.
Come on @TC22, errone knows it takes decades to build a Mecca. She already did and didn’t like it.
Is there any player that wouldn’t be served by getting better? She could work on getting better. That was another option.
Don't forget the "With that said..."Curios if Microsoft has a Word Template out there for these portal transfers. Just about all I have read start out with, "I first want to thank God for blessing me..."
Stinks but I really had a feeling she’d might. Wonder if Wes and Banghart will be after her??
She has only herself to blame for not getting more minutes. I'm surprised that she's not beating herself up and roaring to come back to prove she's a better player, but that's just meShe could work on getting better. That was another option.

Was she suspended for something she didn't do? Or she feels she's above being held accountable. If the latter I tell her to...kick rocks.I think it's a combination of both of these. She had big aspirations and you can't really blame her after winning some national awards and leading the country in scoring to being low on the depth chart. She was behind defensively to start the season and really couldn't buy a basket. I can see why as a star player she might have been eyeing other options.
I believe that suspension was the last straw for her but I figured those extended minutes in the Final Four would make her reconsider. I believe this is a transfer that likely wouldn't have happened under the old transfer rules. I wish her the best, somebody is getting a good one. If she can find her shot again she will be a problem.
