?The Downfall of Louisville?

At some point Louisville should just go full "Necessary Roughness" (or "The Replacements"). Toss the whole team and cobble together a team of lovable misfits. The old guy that was awesome but had to skip college because of a personal issue. A grad student that skipped his last year of eligibility to focus on academics. And don't forget the supermodel! Actually, while probably not as attractive as Kathy Ireland, I'm sure they have a binder full of hookers that they can call upon. If Louisville goes that route, I guarantee crazy hijinks will lead to an ACC Championship (and the old guy will make out with a professor)!
So, basically, go the "Dodgeball" or "Old School" route. I likey

Feds made a mistake...

So they got the timing of your client's facilitating bribes wrong?
Strong argument.

Ummm, right now there are several Adidas Executives who are looking at jail time.....before this is said and done those executives will cut a deal and testify to exactly who knew what at Louisville....

Pitino is used to playing against the NCAA, not the FBI. The FBI puts people in jail and people looking at jail time cut deals and testify. No one is going to do extra jail time to protect Pitino.

Pitino is only making this worse for both himself and Louisville.

Missed this from Pitino's lawyer:
Pence said he'll be making the case in front of the University's Athletics Association Board on Monday that there is no just cause for firing Pitino. He said even if he is so called "Coach 2," there still isn't evidence he did anything wrong.

"'Coach 2' had conversations with a guy from Adidas. That's it," Pence said. "And he had conversations with somebody from Adidas before Bowen signs with the university. OK, so what's wrong with that? They don't even allege there was anything improper in the conversations."

So Rick wasn't coach 2 but even if he was, he didn't do anything wrong, sure he spoke to Adidas rep right before Bowen signed, and sure there was talk about Adidas paying Bowen, but that's all a coincidence...

Someone should remind him that coach 2 was still a coach for a school that was on probation.
