Three 1.5 lb porterhouses might be easier than this giant chunk of top sirloin. More tender, less chewing.
I don't think it's the chewing that gets them. It's 4 and a half pounds of meat plus a pound of sides. Humans are not built to consume over 5 pounds of food in an hour.

And I see no huge hunks of meat on the grill and it's 7:30 in Amarillo. We may be waiting til tomorrow for another challenger.

You have to eat the whole meal to win. Including the baked potato and salad. There is a healthy debate on which order to do this all in.

Potato, salad, beer, beef. Expand stomach, de-gas, eat

Did Adam Richman (Man vs. Food) do it? That guy used to drink copious amounts of water for a week to expand his stomach and work out like a cage fighter. He looks emaciated now as compared to his Mv.F days.

My guess is his doctors told him he was killing himself, Supersize-Me-Style, but he could pack it away back then.

Bottom line is one has to prepare for 5.5-6 lbs. food in a sitting.

OK want to see something amazing and disgusting for the 72 ounce challenge?

The shades hoodie combo is a powerful look for meat eating. My guess is that she is a poker shark who makes side bets that she can eat a giant steak before the hand is over.

Wow. Had no idea they listed age, weight, and residence. This is an incedibly professional operation they have down there.

Many years ago my brother had the privilege of spending the weekend with all the Nathan's Coney Island 4th of July athletes. He got to see them train, warmup, and compete. The fatties all got smoked.
A 15 yea

A 15 year old pounded one down! Holy smokes!

This new guy looks like he knows how to cook a steak.
Bro, if I ever wanna learn how to sling beef like a pro, I am gonna for teutelage under one of their guys. I've noticed they can tell temp by how the beef falls off the tong. Ever wanted to put out a hot spot flame? These guys sling a couple ice cubes and poof, gone. Then back to slingin' that seasoning. I'm curious how many they cook in a shift. Pros.

The night guys are masters with the ice.

10:31 PM their time and that white dude is cooking a steak with a brontosaurus rib sticking out of it.

Honestly. Better than any Barbeque Pitmasters that I have ever seen.

White guy is perpetual motion. Cooks. Grabs rag to wipe counter. Cooks. Grabs a waste basket. Seasons steak. Puts away bowls.

Gross.

11PM and a bronto steak just hit the grill.

At this rate the thread will pass the pizza thread in a week unless you guys Peter out like the steak eaters

Good morning big Texans.

will sheriff be on the grill for prep and lunch rush this morning? I can’t wait to find out
