I would have asked for a second plate and cut the entire steak up into pieces like he is doing now before I even start devouring it. Get all eating done in less than 30min.

I do not think the cutting is the limiting factor. Unless you are a professional eater, I do not think you could chew all that steak in 30 minutes.
