Rock Songs

Heard that on the treadmill just this morning on Meg Griffin's morning show on Deep Tracks. Helped get the blood going at 6:00 a.m.!

Funny thing was I was thinking of songs I like but don't hear much on Ch 7, 8 or 25-33.

Warren Zevon - Mohammeds Radio
Rolling Stones - Torn and Frayed
Allman Brothers - Back Where it all Begins
Abba - Does your mother know
Van Morrison - St. Dominics Preview
Neil Diamond - Holly Holy
Paul Simon - Gone at Last
Max Creek - Emotional Railroad
.

Max Creek. Wow. A Toad's favorite.

Meg goes deep on all her shows, especially on the Loft. By far my favorite DJ. My only knock on her is that she plays a lot of Rush and Yes on her Deep Tracks morning show and I can't stand either.

Moody Bluegrass - Say it With Love (These folks do a bluegrass take on Moody Blues songs. This is one of my faves)
Todd Rungren and Utopia - Set Me Free
Path Metheny Group - Last Train Home
Rainmakers - Downstream (Pretty much anything by them though)
The Zombies - And We Danced

Led Zeppelin - Good Times, Bad Times
Steve Miller - Serenade
Grateful Dead- Ripple
Derek and the Dominoes - Bell Bottom Blues
Badfinger - Day after Day

.-.
Also, great call on Miracles! Marty Balin's vocals are as good as it gets on that song.

Sex Pistols-Sub-Mission
Kiss-Detroit Rock city
ACDC- I'v got big balls
Cult-She Sell Sanctuary
U2-Electric Company

Both versions, though "Gotta Get Better in a Little While" would be my you-can-only-have-one Clapton track.
Great track. Could well be the theme for our season. Gonna add it to my running playlist.

If you are a Van fan give them a listen. Really A+ tunes. I could name a dozen more that few here have heard of but would love.

Which reminds me that I miss @Dogbreath2U , who would be one of very few to know them.

Whizz Kid - Mott The Hoople
Strange Kind of Woman - Deep Purple
Hard Drivin' Man - J Geils
Nowhere To Run - Ten Years After
Nantucket Sleighride - Mountain

The entire Oddessy and Oracle album by the Zombies is pretty underrated and under the radar imo.

One of the best albums to come out of the 60's

Five from Van Morrison:

Bulbs
Summertime in England
Satisfied
Alan Watts Blues
The Street Only Knew Your Name
