Heard that on the treadmill just this morning on Meg Griffin's morning show on Deep Tracks. Helped get the blood going at 6:00 a.m.!

Funny thing was I was thinking of songs I like but don't hear much on Ch 7, 8 or 25-33.

Meg goes deep on all her shows, especially on the Loft. By far my favorite DJ. My only knock on her is that she plays a lot of Rush and Yes on her Deep Tracks morning show and I can't stand either.

Todd Rungren and Utopia - Set Me Free
Path Metheny Group - Last Train Home
Rainmakers - Downstream (Pretty much anything by them though)
The Zombies - And We Danced

Also, great call on Miracles! Marty Balin's vocals are as good as it gets on that song.

Looooooooong time lurker, but music threads pull me off the sidelines.

Five classic rock:
- AC/DC | Ain’t No Fun (waiting round to be a millionaire)
- Black Sabbath | Supernaut
- David Bowie | Let’s Spend the Night Together
- Fleetwood Mac | Sisters of the Moon
- Pete Townshend | Mary

And five from bands you might not know:
- Manchu | Make Them Believe
- Gutter Twins | Idle Hands
- The Ike Reilly Assassination | When Irish Eyes Are Burning
- The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion | Shakin’ Rock ‘n’ Roll Tonight
- The Raveonettes | Love in a Trashcan

Traffic, "Who Knows What Tomorrow May Bring"

Rolling Stones, "Worried About You"

Kinks, "Jukebox Music"

Led Zeppelin, "Your Time is Gonna Come"

Kow Kow
Glad
Stop Breaking Down
This Time Tomorrow
Battle of Evermore

(The first 5 alternative choices I could hear in my head after reading your list, though I don't think I could do the same for any from your Van Morrison list in contrast to many dozens I could.)

Both versions, though "Gotta Get Better in a Little While" would be my you-can-only-have-one Clapton track.
Great track. Could well be the theme for our season. Gonna add it to my running playlist.

If you are a Van fan give them a listen. Really A+ tunes. I could name a dozen more that few here have heard of but would love.

Which reminds me that I miss @Dogbreath2U , who would be one of very few to know them.

The entire Oddessy and Oracle album by the Zombies is pretty underrated and under the radar imo.

One of the best albums to come out of the 60's
