Didn't get much production out of Love yesterday, but like Texas I kind of doubt Arizona backslides much. I like the look of that team.Arizona impressive, no idea how they will perform but they definintely intrigue me.
As long as Sabally is ok, this was a really good day for Oregon--and against an NCAA tournament team that returned almost all its roster and is favored to (once again) win the Big Sky Conference. Defensively, and with Maddie Scherr leading the way (surely the most disruptive perimeter player of Graves tenure here), Oregon took Idaho State completely out of its game and the Bengals looked shell-shocked from start to finish. Among the positives was the play of both freshmen. There's already been a lot of talk about Kyei, and rightly so, but I was also impressed by Taylor Bigby, who has, I believe, a bright future going forward. With PaoPao back, maybe Oregon can even give South Carolina a challenge in the Bahamas (if they get past Oklahoma, that is), although PaoPao + Rogers would be even better.
I too was unable to stream the games from PAC-12.com. The Pac-12 website design is horrible. Not being able to stream a game makes them appear so amateurish. Thanks for posting this.
I tried streaming several games yesterday. Had no problem with Arizona. A little while later, none of the games would load. Tried several times. Gave up.
Eventually I was able to stream the Arizona men's game. I didn't go back to trying the any of the women's games at that point.
Exactly. We all breathed a sigh of relief when Larry Scott rode off into the sunset, but I can't tell that the new comish is doing anything to improve the standing of the conference. This amateur hour to start the season isn't giving me any confidence. Not being able to stream a game makes them appear so amateurish.
What I figured from two of them but Sadler got 20 minutes floor time so I assume JR saw something on defense from her. Quay makes up for loss of Charlotte for the year.Quay w/ a decent debut, 9 pts/6 reb 4-7 shooting. Looks like Sadler didn't do much. We'll take her back in Seattle.![]()
Jeez. Serious injury bug.UCLA only has 7 players dressed today. Line up limitations.
That’s bad. I guess I should check out case by case before jumping to conclusionsUCLA only has 7 players dressed today. Line up limitations.
Pepp hit 13 3's in the first half, I think they only missed one. That's gonna keep you in a lot of games. That was almost all of their points in the first half. I'll bet they won't repeat that all season.Pepperdine was picked 9th out of 10 in the West Coast Conference.
Even significantly shorthanded you would expect a bigger margin from a ranked team.

Last season USF made 15 or 16 3-pointers vs Oregon State. It was painful to watch as OSU's defense on the perimeter was terrible. Fortunately, OSU's 3-point defense got much better over the course of the season. I'm sure the Bruins will as well. One on hand, they'd struggle to repeat that performance even in shootaround.
On the other, it doesn't speak well of UCLA's 3-point defense.
