6 shot 80 or higher

That means 13 of the 57 players who teed off, or about 23% shot 79 or worse.

That's insane. Augusta is finicky. When it is a bit moist on the course and wind lays low, winner is going to be -14 or better.

Wind kicks and course dries out, -5 or -6 is a great score.

I think pairings today had a huge effect on the outcomes. So easy to play down to a bad level.

It's crazy to think that the 12th ranked player in the world winning surprises so many people (not here, but on Twitter). Not that I picked him but it's not like he came out of nowhere.
