I think it's either Kentucky or Iowa for Greenway. I'm hoping Kenny can land his first big fish for the cats.
So far Kentucky seems like they are better at making the top 10 than they are at actually landing any of the recruits.

You can think Elzy for that. The program was a laughing stock under her which Kenny is trying to move them past. Not extremely easy to recruit unless you have a ton of NIL to work with.

Tennessee is an interesting one. From the outside, just based on what I see. I feel like they have more NIL to work with under this coach. Almost like some donors closed the bank when Harper was here. And now that she is gone; they are ready to participate.

Maybe. I would think most donors get excited when a big-name, proven head coach is hired. That's not what happened with the Tennessee hire.

Her listing Iowa at this point seems like more out of respect to her favorite team growing up/parents’ college. Seems like she moved on from Iowa some time ago.

Kentucky would be my guess now that Emilee Skinner picked Duke.

Word around Lexington is that the staff feels really good about landing Greenway. They came in second for Jernigan in the last cycle so this would be a nice get.

I could never contribute to NIL at UConn because too much that happens in recruiting frustrates me. I would want a lot of strings attached to any contributions that I make.

With the recent UConn connections to the Mitty program, I can’t believe there seemingly wasn’t more interest in Woliczko. I have theories about why. But I am baffled overall.

I’m not even sure if there was interest at any point from Woliczko in UConn.

I think UConn is most focused on Jerzy Robinson, Olivia Vukosa and more recently Kate Harpring for ‘26. Sadly, we can’t have them all. There are some others like Jacy Abii, Brihanna Crittendon and Addison Bjorn that have offers as well.

Yep. Interest has to be mutual. I question the talent evaluation if there wasn’t any from the UConn side.

6'2 Jaliya Davis of Kansas City has visited Kansas, Baylor and Texas officially. And, Oklahoma this past weekend.

And, Jaliya visited South Carolina this past weekend.

Felt this was coming with her following LSU's page on Instagram right after her Tennessee visit, I knew LSU was going to be her choice.

Huge class for Kim, and this is why you should never count Kim out.
But can she keep her top recruits? She hasn’t lately

She's not the only one who has over the last few years. Look to Oregon for example. UConn lost 2 from their 2021 and they were considered top recruits. Maryland has that challenge almost every year. This list could go on and on. This is a challenge for all coaches, not just Mulkey.

SC lost Rivers (NC State) Talaysia Cooper (Tenn) both of whom would have played a fair amount.

It happens.

Now with all of this talent will Kim Mulkey finally stop scheduling some of the worst Non-Conference schedules?
Why would she change now? She had plenty of talent while she was at Baylor and still chose to schedule the way she does.

I agree. It's not like I'm a LSU fan trying to defend her. Considering she's had one true recruiting class since taking over LSU, there is no data to support this theory. The narrative that she's struggling with retaining recruits is bunk.

She won’t

Sadly her Baylor schedules were elite compared to her LSU schedules

I'm surprised Knox chose LSU over Southern Cal. But, she did only recently move from Nevada to the L.A. area, so perhaps the "hometown" school wasn't ever the early favorite even though one of her high school / club teammates is a freshman at USC this season.

Mulkey had to recruit 2025 hard as she whiffed on the 2024 class signing only one player. Even though a 2025 class of four is not a small size, combined with the 2024 class that's only 5 underclassmen on next season's roster. No doubt she'll have to hit the transfer portal hard in the offseason.
