If they keep the ACC assets, that means the ACC is not dissolved and the GOR remains in place, no? The assets would have to be worth a bunch then.
Couldn't 8 schools (including ND) leave by legally dissolving the league and then the remaining schools could retain the ACC name, league HQ, and other assets and then expand by adding other schools? The revised league would have to reconstitute bylaws, negotiate media deals, exit fees, a new GOR, etc.If they keep the ACC assets, that means the ACC is not dissolved and the GOR remains in place, no? SameI would have a healthy bit of skepticism about that except for the fact that it fits conference realignment rule number one so well.
Agree with part 1.Imagine the worst possible thing for UConn and that is what will happen.
If we’re just treading water hoping for some ACC remnants to show up with a lifeboat then we will certainly end up drowning.
Correlates strongly with Rule (law) #1Imagine the worst possible thing for UConn and that is what will happen.

I really wish UConn would be more proactive and not monitoring. I would be on the phone with Yormark and the Big 12 working out a deal right now similar to what the PAC leftovers are doing. Big East basketball is starting to show signs of cracking. Only a matter of time.Imagine the worst possible thing for UConn and that is what will happen.
