I'm sure he's talking about his wife.

He's tweeting for all of us married guys taken for granted.

Not that it justifies the tweets, but I'd be upset too watching my kid get about half as many minutes as a 5th year senior shooting 20% and committing unforced turnovers every game.

You mean a parent isn't happy with their son's playing time? I'm shocked.

Vance isn't transferring. Remember kids go away to college to get away from their parents, Vance could be tired of his dad's over 'barringness.'

I'd bet some of those tweets aren't basketball related.

You KNOW what happens when you assume.

How do you know the family are nudists?

Legitimate worry by whom?

I'll bite my tongue and say sources, but people that are well connected with California recruiting.

Even after we signed him, California and Pacific schools called and texted all the time to get him to stay home. One coach was as confident as saying, "we'll see you next spring."

Vance and his dad are very close, and he definitely has influence on his son.

He quit his job years ago to train his son.

I'm hoping it turns out like one of those "Three's Company" episodes where Mr. Furley only hears half of a conversation and jumps to the wrong conclusion based on what he heard. Then comedy ensues.

I fear he's Mr. Roper, snickering while looking directly at the camera after he tells a stupid joke. Only the camera in this instance is us and he's reading our comments and laughing.

Woof. You know what that says right? That he thinks his son is NBA bound and that would justify quitting your job to invest time in your sons future. Seems like a case of unrealistic expectations.

So, safe to assume that VJ Sr. is at least lurking here?

Sweet, now this thread is turning into a bash Vance Jackson Jr. thread. Just what we need.
Yeah, already bad enough. The kid is a freshman and pretty clearly will be a good player. It would be terrible to lose him.

I hope coach and his dad can come to an understanding, but these guys taking their frustration out on VJ need to chill.

What if it turns out that VJ Sr. is actually looking for a new house, and he owns a horse, so he needs a horse property; but someone is trying to pass off an ugly pony paddock because they don't realize what he has? I can see KO going out to meet with him, finding him in full dressage and realizing he misunderstood.

My guess is the conversation goes something like this from KO:

"If you're dad has a big influence on you staying or leaving then you should decide now so you can start somewhere in January"

I will be honest, my brother said to me this morning before I read this, he didn't like Vance Jacksons game last night because "it looked like someone got in his ear about going out and getting yours" - little did he know!!
