Even a broken clock is right twice a day.Interesting! I heard UVA a couple of days ago.
Either team will benefit greatly!

But then, we'll have 3 graduating, plus two incoming, even 5 injured all back and healthy total is only 11 players.Transfers can't play until next season. By then we'll have all of the injured players back plus Ayanna and Ice.
Congratulations to Mir. I hope Virginia and coach Thompson will not allow her to cheat her potential, and help her to achieve everything possible. All the best to you. You have greatness within you, let it shine.
Anyone know if she has to sit out, or can she play now?
Her speed and jumping ability becomes truly valuable if she developes a multipointed (locations) midrange shot. Then she could study Gabby's play book. You’re not kidding.
I would think Mir would do well on a team that is undersized where a 5’10” would naturally play forward. (Which is a lot of teams)
Her fit on a super tall team seems … odd.
Be interesting to see.
No she is eligible for all of next season. You have to transfer before June to qualify for the season. She would have to file for a waiver to play right away. Otherwise she’s out until January 2023
Ah, but you forget the portal oh wise one. I'd say Geno would be comfortable with 11 but this year may have had him shake off his old ways. But then, we'll have 3 graduating, plus two incoming, even 5 injured all back and healthy total is only 11 players.
Yah, I have my head constantly worry. 5 injured players really hurts us.Ah, but you forget the portal oh wise one. I'd say Geno would be comfortable with 11 but this year may have had him shake off his old ways.
I sure hope so. I’d like to see her get on the floor and assimilate herself into the fabric of her new team.I believe that she is able to play right away. It's a new semester and there is no sitting out a season anymore under the NCAA rules.
Piath.Several here have mentioned 5 injured players. I know it is hard to keep up but Azzi, Nika, Paige, Aubrey and who?
@Carnac , you lost an opportunity to use weft and woof. I ask you how often does that chance come along?I sure hope so. I’d like to see her get on the floor and assimilate herself into the fabric of her new team.
Good for her. UVA is a fine school. It was posted on Facebook that Mir has transferred to Virginia with Olympian and WNBA Champion Tina Thompson.

Great playerplaying for one of the greatest WNBA players of all-time. Not bad at all
Five are injured? Paige, Azzi, Nika and Audrey. Who else? Now UConn has only 12 players, and 5 are injured. Hope Geno can get some transfers soon ...
Minus three seniors, and possibly Dorka.Transfers can't play until next season. By then we'll have all of the injured players back plus Ayanna and Ice.
