Ater Majok was drafted... Honestly, in his videos he already looks like someone who we'd love in a UConn jersey. I'm projecting out 4 years of studying the game hard and learning. My whole point is just, why would you focus mainly on the ranking to react to the guy? Trust our coaches, trust that they see a ton of guys play basketball and sometimes you just see something in a kid who is very low ranked. I'm over the moon about this recruit simply because, as many others have already stated, he is the type of kid we see on a team we expect to dominate and then lose to or come close. He just has a feel for the game as a big man down low, whereas usually we bring in rail thin athletes and try to teach them basketball. We don't need to teach him how to catch the ball, and to then go immediately up with it. He likes playing back to the basket, faking, absorbing contact.
