Pretty well so far actually.
Ya think?
This FOI document dump all part of the master plan?

Have a feeling the "Not fair, someone told on me!" defense isn't going to hold water.
no idea what this means. he is doing what anyone would do. i certainly wouldnt stand by and let a inept clown like benedict fire me for cause.
If he walked away or tried to negotiate an actual settlement then he'd probably have another job right now. No organization, college or pro, is going to hire him now. You can't trust himyeah lets walk away from 10 million in a situation where no one in the country tries to fire for cause.
two seconds after diaco got paid for being the worst coach in college sports.
makes sense to give up and take nothing because it makes most of the by happy
You're the one who brought up Diaco as if he has any relevance to this whatsoever.well that isnt what they are using so i dont think they disagree.

You're right. This is clearly a deathblow to the university. Might as well start the collection fund right now.Ya think?

He’s not very smart. I know him pretty well from his days at UConn... as s player....nice kid but not very smart.... I was shocked when he was hired as HC and I am not suprised how this turned out.Agree or he’s not very smart, that’s the conclusion Chief has come to.

Diaco didn't break the rules, dumb dumb. Ollie did and then lied about it.yes paying diaco 5 million to walk away has nothing to do with what is going on. okey dokey

Whelp. There is truth in that, especially on the recruiting trail and management of player relationships...
But in light of this year, its hard to say his game coaching (disinterest aside) was a glaring weakness when comparing Apples to Apples.
And to the Cesspool we go!!!If there was any discrimination, he was the clear beneficiary.

, I'm dealing with an imbecile.you have no idea if diaco broke any rules. nobody enlisted a rat.
you missed the point again though because you are blinded by hatred for ollie. part of the reason why uconn had to take this for cause path because they had already blown 5 million on diaco and cant afford to operate like a normal athletic department.
I'm not so sure about that. Things might have changed recently but a couple of weeks ago somebody posted a bunch objective measures by which this year's team was clearly performing better. It wasn't translating to the "W" column but the improvement seemed clear.

Diaco was never charged with any violations by the NCAA. Kevin Ollie was. That's why Diaco got the buyout and Ollie didn't.
UConn took the for cause path with Kevin because he materially violated the terms of his contract and therefor wasn't entitled to his buyout. How is this difficult to understand? I feel like I'm arguing with an Infowars commenter.
Well there is another way to look at that, isnt there?
That with worse objective measure metrics a coach can achieve same results?
With guys he didn't choose to bring in and an injured jalen adams
Glen Miller toed the "company" line. Was what he did selfish? Yes. Was it in the best interest of the school? Yes. It's a completely different scenarioGlen Miller got a job.

and the healthiest Alterique weve seen in 2 years.
The injury thing is a wash.
Weve been snake bitten 3 years running across 2 regimes on that front.
There it is. Was waiting for you to go full tinfoil hat mode and you didn't disappoint. They took the for cause path because they couldn’t afford to take any other path.
They were so desperate they had to facilitate the NCAA charges.
If you are dim enough to think Diaco didn’t have petty violations like shot a basket in khakis or 30 second face time with recruit - you probably shouldn’t be insulting anyone’s intellect.
Sure, I'll even give you the injury thing is a wash- and ultimately the season boils down to W's and L's but I can tell you I had a hell of a better time watching them lose to Cinci by 4 then last year when they lost to Cinci by 25.
