Key tweets, and it's all gone to Hell.

It’s a stupid rule and it doesn’t give a competitive advantage. The only reason it’s a rule is because smaller schools can’t afford to do it.

It’s already been reported in Michigan circles that they handed evidence that they shared Michigan signs with each other. Again, when/if things go to court (which will start with the TRO hearing Friday for Harbaugh to coach the OSU game) a lot of things may come to light.

@ZooCougar ive heard nothing about gambling rumors at all. Giving immunity in NCAA investigations is very common. He’ll in ANY investigation lol
Why have rules at all if we can just let everyone select which ones they want to follow based on what they could afford?

It would be funny if there were a huge (bad) pass interference call in the OhioSt game, just so we can hear the MI folks scream about "following the rules".

Michigan fans and the people defending them are wild. This is like a kid saying he didn't steal the cookies while he has chocolate all over his face and a milk mustache to go with it.
It’s not about that. It’s about due process and fair treatment.

If we broke the rule, fine. But finish the investigation and then make a ruling based on the facts you find. Don’t broke your own rules on dealing out punishment to trip over yourself to suspend a coach to try and screw a season. Then hand out a proper punishment for it.

The absurdity that this is getting so much airtime like teams aren’t blatantly dropping bags and tampering with players is also nuts.

But the point was, no matter how the public feels about this situation. Michigan is not happy about how the Big Ten commissioner has went about handling this process. Because of that there’s a very real possibility they rethink their position in the conference where they are the flagship program having an even revenue distribution with teams like Rutgers, Indiana, and Purdue.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Manup and take the L.

MI has been the whiniest cheater since Lance Armstrong ... so much so that I actually rooted for Penn St for the first time since Sandusky. And I'll be rooting for Ohio St in Ann Arbor for the first time ever.

Funny thing is, Cryan Day is actually the person who hired the private investigators to find this out because he got tired of getting his butt kicked. The firm is his brothers. But we’re the whiney losers… lol

Still beat PSU, after finding out coach was going to watch from the hotel room 24 hrs prior, on the road, while pretty much holding up a sign that said we were running the ball all second half.

But yeah, signs was the reason all these teams getting they butts kicked. Lol

Go to a Michigan board. You won’t get sympathy anywhere else.

College Football has become incredibly sleazy and Michigan is truly on the cutting edge on that front.

Fair treatment? Do you know what would actually be fair? Vacated wins, an indefinite ban from the playoff and lifetime bans from football for anyone involved

It’s not that deep. Every actual football player that has commented on it has said it’s not a big deal because everyone does it.

If dreaming, let’s go all out. Bring Penn State with them when they move over to the ACC. Make the money rain like manna.

Hahahahahaha you guys are delusional.

The only reason you won't face actual punishment is because you're Michigan. You are getting treated with kid gloves and are acting like you're some major victim.

Grow up. You had a sophisticated, established cheating network set up all over the country. It should be a death penalty and won't be because that's not how it works in corrupt organizations like the NCAA.

The only thing I hate more than cheaters is those in power who refuse to punish them.

"Cheating doesnt matter if our rival reports it."
"Cheating doesnt matter if we still win without it."

Yeah we cheated but but but but

hahaha

They should lose a first-round draft pick and fine Harbough $500k.

This sounds more like jealousy than anything else :).

Lol at us being treated with kids glove because of, again, a rule that’s there for financial reasons. Not competitive.

It should be no where close to a death penalty. You’re absolutely tripping.

Waiting until a coach goes on a plane to coach his team to suspend him is definitely kids gloves. You’re right. Admin was so considerate to do that before one of the biggest games of the year.

Still beat the butt too ;)

Like I said. Totally delusional. On a different planet from literally anyone else that is not a Michigan alum or Walmart fan

Ah yes. Colin Cowherd. The well-known voice of reason who has never had a delusional take, ever.

Colin Cowherd has no moral compass.

He’s a might makes right guy.

Michigan is not leaving the B1G10
The Universities -especially the original 10 members- are linked not just athletically but more importantly academically. The power of the conference is the sum of all the schools.
Ohio State and Penn State are clearly the big dogs in football ...but not in every other sport.

If you’re talking about academics,

For the 17th consecutive year, the Atlantic Coast Conference leads the way among Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) conferences in the “Best Colleges” rankings released by U.S. News & World Report.

I was planning on staying out of this, but when i see "academics" mentioned in conjuction with P4 schools, I think AAU/research $$$, not GPAs. IOW, the reason UConn would never be a B1G candidate.

I’m not sure how that part works in conjunction with high ranking schools. I figured they would be one and the same but could be wrong.

Just figured Duke, Michigan UNC, GTech, and Notre Dame would make for a pretty strong conference academically on paper.

Also, I felt like news like this would be welcomed on the board. If Michigan did end up making the jump to the ACC that’s now a stable conference and another option for UConn to jump too (and tbh, the most ideal for hoops and travel).

I also know next to nothing about what it would take for us to get accepted into any of these conferences so it could mean absolutely nothing too.
