Alum Jason Pierre Paul also attended and was seen leaving the meeting giving 1 and a 1/2 thumbs up.
That's been thrown out as a viable option. Then if ok and ut leave you've got two waiting on the benchif that reporting is correct, then UConn's best chance is if BYU and UH are football only members and UC and UConn full members
That would make sense as football is the only program at Houston that seems relevant right now. If you're going to take a school as FB only UH seems to fit that bill. If/when UT leaves then they can add them for all sports.if that reporting is correct, then UConn's best chance is if BYU and UH are football only members and UC and UConn full members
He also points out that for UConn it is simply a matter of waiting to see if they have finally cleared the hurdle into the Power 5.
Is there a SoundCloud or something that we could tap into?
What does this mean?
Wow. I would have put good money on the fact that UConn and BYU were locks for expansion when this all started, due to it being done primarily for tv money purposes. But if this backlash gets enough traction, it looks like UConn / Cincy will be the favorites in my opinion...

TV money is absolutely not the #1 factor, as has been shown with ESPN's failed Longhorn Network and their subsequent rejection of a Big 12 Network. The cavalier attitude some have here that we're stone cold getting in over Houston is baffling.Houston may get in, but it's not going to come at the expense of UCONN (my opinion). This is about TV money, and we're the biggest dog out there...

Makes a lot of sense to me.It's really not a key tweet but the title get's it placed here!
SportzEdge 8: Why the Big Ten should kick out Rutgers, add UConn
This line did make me chuckle: "Rutgers brings the New York City market the same way Taco Bell brings you quality Mexican cuisine."
I pray that you're right, but Houston is going to be a big hurdle to jump.Wow.
