did you know Cincinnati is within 600 miles of 54% of the US population?
So is Ohio State.

Anything with caffeine is also prohibited,Obviously not and that's a very good point because I don't think think I could socialize with the people of Utah without a really good buzz.
So is East Hartford. I mean you can walk right to Cabela's so it's kind of one stop shopping.Although I will say there is a small grassroots effort among Big 12 to promote UNLV and Tulane as the schools of choice simply because of the destination cities.

I know that in the 90's Fidelity built a facility there (actually North Kentucky) that does all the mailing and shipping, because it was the most central place in the country by cost to mail and or fly/ship things. It's pretty close to the center of the country based on population.
Do people really do a lot of stuff at road games? Other than mixing in other sporting events I don't think I've ever done anything but go to the game and some bars.

well, certainly not in the regular season. not from the recent track record. we haven't even had the best record in the AAC yet...We wouldn't rival Kansas, we'd instantly be the best program in that conference.
I've hosted tailgates of 40-50 people at both Michigan and ND (bought a Joyce lot parking pass on eBay for that game), we have done smaller tailgates at the bowl games (usually find a sports bar that does catering packages and ordered a bunch of stuff).Do people really do a lot of stuff at road games? They can have their regular season accomplishments, they choke in the post season every year. 4>1 is what mostly matters.well, certainly not in the regular season. not from the recent track record. we haven't even had the best record in the AAC yet...
tournament play, definitely

Except KU has 3 national championships not 1

And I'd take that, plus being in the tournament something like the last 25 years in a row, plus the conference titles, over our record. It's a debatable point either way. I think we overemphasize NCs, because it's convenient for us. KU is #2 all time in wins. Anyone who thinks UConn is somehow "clearly" the top hoops program in the league if it joins the B12 is on crack.
I'm a mixed bag but about 30-40% vacations/sightseeing. For bus trips to Army and Cuse, not possible. Army in NYC - nope. BC? That's a home game for me. Toronto, St. Pete and Detroit were short trips. My honeymoon was planned around the USF game in 2010, that was a 10 day vacation. I had a 5 day Atlanta trip for the GT game in 2005 and 4 days for Charlotte in 2007. I took a Philly trip and hit the UConn - RU Sunday night game on the way home in 2006 I think. Had another Philly trip for Temple with the buddies that was mostly bars and cheesesteaks. For this year, BC is again a home game for me and I'll consider a good bowl destination for a family vacation (which would be 4+ days). If I don't take a bowl trip[ this year I'm probably booking a family vacation around the UCF game next year.Do people really do a lot of stuff at road games? I hope I'm not the only nerd who finds this cool. Give me a map and some data points and I'm a happy camper. My kids are doomed.
Settle down, Beavis. We wouldn't rival Kansas, we'd instantly be the best program in that conference.
