As of now we have 2 incoming freshmen, 1 returning senior, and 1 incoming transfer.

What are the rules on team limits? Right now we only know of two leaving (Henderson and Grissett) which would mean that we could have up to 17 players on next year's team...is that possible or will cuts have to be made?

I know that 15 is the technical limit. Do super seniors count toward that limit this next season?

What about Littleton...thought she was leaving?

That would be a concern. In the meantime, do you know of any of your post players that have a particular love for cheap tobacco, vinegar based pork bbq, Collegiate Gothic architecture, and the color dark blue? Asking for a needy fan-base.
Nobody has a love for vinegar base barbecue. Send that stuff to the trash where it belongs.

I would think that an upperclassman might be interesting in being a focal starting big. You can offer something like that?

Mustard is a nice change of pace when you're slumming.

Ketchup is for children.

Also have had plenty of vinegar based in the lower part of the state. So the Germans are a little power mad as always.

I'd have been upset as recently as maybe even December with Saxton coming back, but I think Amihere would be a big downgrade.

Fletcher is a nice pick-up.. not as dynamic as Henderson, but a solid solid player with great experience.

Tomato based bbq is the predominate kind here in the Piedmont... I love it, but don't like the red slaw too much. I love vinegar based bbq... but the only places around here you can get it s at Cookout or Smithfield BBQ (NC Chain). Many moons ago, there was a bbq place here that had mustard based bbq on the menu. I tried it once, I remember it being ok. Sometime this year, I hope to visit some BBQ places down in the Charleston area.

Charleston proper didn't really have much of a local BBQ scene of any quality 15 years ago outside of Melvins (mustard based and maybe has better burgers) but they've imported one in recent years.

I think that super seniors didn't count this season, but they will next.

Wesolek, Henny and Grissette are leaving. So that would keep them at 16 with Fletcher, Cooper and Watkins coming in. Assuming this means that Littleton is part of the group that's leaving, so that will have the roster at 15.

Curious to hear what SC fans think... does Amihere continue to come off the bench?

Elysa is definitely leaving. She posted this on Instagram today. Lele and Destanni are gone as well. I would expect Littleton to leave and I think Eniya transfers. So that’s 5 going out and three coming in as of now which makes it 14.

I saw that post from Wesolek and couldn't decipher the message...it was very cryptic. I get the impression that she is either graduating or transferring but nothing is technically ruled out by what she said.

I would be happy with her transferring to an instate CofC, Furman etc. especially if she is eying a future in coaching.

Yes I agree but I think it’s pretty safe to say she will not be on the team next year.

I’m from the Lowcountry. We like mustard around these parts… but you find a few vinegar spots when you move up the coast a little bit.

Yeah, if you want good Lowcountry mustard BBQ you definitely have to stick to the rural areas where people actually still grow hogs.

I think Saxton returning plus adding a starting caliber PG to the guard rotation cements SCar as the paper favorite.

I think Cooke will revert to the mean to the good, the freshmen will be better and there certainly at the moment isn't any real depth concerns.

Curious about what happens with Feagin next year since she's still behind the quartet of Boston, Saxton, Cardoso and Amihere. Saxton returning no doubt helps SC since she's such a great rebounder/shot blocker, but it potentially a former top 5 recruit on the bench for another season, and keeps Cardoso on the bench until she's a senior.

Haven't seen much of Fletcher but she looks like an ideal pickup for Dawn. Solid player for GT, probably does a good job helping Raven Johnson adjust to taking over PG duties. Likely comes in, fills her role and helps the team continue to evolve. Had they landed Owusu it would've changed the team dynamic more since Ashley is a big time talent and would be taking a lot more shots than Fletcher likely does.

I think SC is the runaway #1 team going into next season, provided players stay healthy and they don't lose any major contributors to the portal. They were the clear cut #1 team this year and bring back everyone but Henderson, but have a former #2 recruit replacing her along with an impact transfer. I think they have a good chance of going wire to wire #1 again.

Saxton is using her extra year, so she pretty much has to.
Dawn can always move LA or Zia to the point to appease her just to start the game. Just in case she has a problem coming off the bench. I don't know if Dawn promised LA the starting position.

How about a former one. Ladhazia Williams is in the portal. Maybe Lawson can get the best out of her.
Missouri has tainted her. Might be a sabotage. Seriously, if she did not like the playing time situation before, it is a whole lot worse now.
