Yeah he was a good one.Richard Hamilton, always clutch and money his last two years.
For sure. Still a top 10 team.This also ain’t Kemba’s big east
Just sayin

Exactly! He'll be a high draft pick and would be insane not to leave, but the question is what is his UConn legacy going to be?
As far as winning is concerned, he could be Caron, or he could be Daniel Hamilton.
He will grow 10x faster in the nba. Have seen any rookie vs any upper class men? No comparison. Here’s the problem: I love Bouk and he’s our best player. Not debatable. The issue with him is he gets pushed around, thrown around, knocked down and physically can’t keep up for 40 minutes (cramping, sucking wind, dead legs, etc). The next level has bigger guys, longer games and is more physical...not for lack of talent, but because of physicality, he needs another year to grow and mature. That said - he’s gone, right call or not.
Are you assuming that his stock has dropped or do you have GM friends who have told you that? It takes way more than a bad game or two to drop your stock. If anything he helped himself going out there and giving it his all with the amount of pain he was in.While the defense is more spaced out and faster paced...it’s more physical, faster and a longer game. He’s not ready. His game translates to a 10-20 pick instead of the 5-10 right now, unless he steps up big next three week. His stock has def dropped. Again, he’s gone and he can carve out a Jeremy Lamb type career - but he’s not ready IMO. Also, guys “smarter than me” have been wrong plenty of times.
He feels it’s on him to make the play. Would a few more Tyler Polley 3’s take the pressure off or Martin shots falling? Yup. Can’t do this alone. Its not rocket science. Bouk has been and will continue to be double-teamed in college-the Tournament. Does he recognize the double team and spray the ball to his open teammates(secondary players) and do they make the D "pay" with made baskets?
Or does he try to do it on his own? Seems like the book on Bouk is to body him on D if you can and disrupt his offensive rhythm'
RJ's value to Bouk is getting him the ball in his spots before the double-team can happen.
Looking forward to some more W's.. One at a time.
There are times when I think Bouk doesn't think he'll get a return pass from his teammates. Cut to the rim.He feels it’s on him to make the play. Would a few more Tyler Polley 3’s take the pressure off or Martin shots falling? Yup. Can’t do this alone.
No legs, absolutely. There are times when I think Bouk doesn't think he'll get a return pass from his teammates. Cut to the rim.
.Use screens.. Get open without the ball. Run the baseline .
With reversing the ball and good ball movement (like last GTown game) and making the extra pass. His teammates will find him.
Guessing this will be a teaching moment for Dan Hurley/staff leading up to our next game.
In Bouk's defense. I don't think he had his legs last night. No explosion-dehydration hangover.
Very few doubters here on those 2. I bet less than 5%.James and Coach Hurley are going to prove many of the doubters wrong during the NCAAs. This has been a fun season to watch and hopefully we will play our best ball during the tournament.
Totally agree with the whiny, body language part. We played our best against DePaul without him frankly. Not saying we are better without him. Just saying something has changed and not for the better.Bouk needs help from everyone. But he also doesn't let the game come to him in crucial moments he tries to take it to double teams, misses open players and at times plays out of control. But again, we need a lot from him. They're not afraid of AJ, Gaff, Polley because he's guardable etc etc.. But it's not even this that has bothered me about Bouk it's more his attitude as of late. Whiny, sulky, blames teammates with hands and faces and at times isn't fully locked in on D.
Let's see what he has for the tourney but for now he has some making up to do. It's just me but a star of a "team" doesn't act like he has since returning form the injury. He acts like he deserves more or something I just can't get over it with him.
So I checked this out online (you can do the same):And you surely sport a fattier liver than most of us here
Who are you again? He’s Uber talented. But he’s just not that good when we need him. Change my mind.
But we got you the first 10 times. You don't like Bouk and Hurley. Calhoun something-something.Hey don’t mention reality and context
Yup, at the end of the year it was Ricky Moore's team and we were dead in the water when he got hurt.Unfair topic to say the least. How'd we do the year Ray Allen was the team leader?
Just a fan who isn’t afraid to call it like I see it. And you?Who are you again?
How sure are you he's a top 8 pick? Drummond was projected 2 and went 9. You have no idea where he'll be draftedStop. Name one top 8 pick who has returned in the last 30 years not called tim Duncan.
It was clear Bouk wasn't 100%. He has some of the best body control I've ever seen and at times last night he looked like he was learning to walk. Many of his shots were short. Tough loss, but hopefully he's back to normal by next Thurs/Fri.

Agreed, and I love Bouknight don't get me wrong. I don't feel like this is trashing him in any way. I'm just saying his body broke down and failed him in less than 20 games played. Not even just the cramps but he struggled to stay on his feet and keep his legs under him since returning. Its not about the first contract for these guys it’s about the second and third. If he is a projected lottery pick and first round lock he needs to go. Makes no sense to come back to school.
