So much for Coach Chill being able to bring in the tuna....

Should have kept Miller. MAL would probably still be on board.

Instead, Ollie panicked. The man has no plan. He's grasping at straws at this point.

Unfortunately I have zero faith in Ollie at this juncture. Starting to feel a little apathetic at this point about next season.
Because he wanted to follow the #1 player to the cess pool that is Mizzou? I'd wait until at least June to freak out

This makes everything hurt a lot more. I was holding out hope that maybe the mass exodus from UConn was to clear out house and bring in Chillious' people.
Nope. Denied.

I've questioned his coaching but thought or at least hoped he would grow and improve on any inadequacies but I never expected this. It's looking more and more like he has no clue how to run a program.

Anyone who thought UConn was going to land players among the slim pickings that were out there was being wildly optimistic. It is April. There are very few good players available. And there are lots of colleges looking for them.

So, everyone here was wrong for celebrating the firing of Miller (as many called for throughout the season). Also, the hiring of Chillious. He is clearly a loser.

He should have held onto MAL. He has no clue. Can't believe he let MAL go.

Couldn't reel in one of his own. Clearly not a good start. Who knows what the future will bring, but at this point there's no reason to be optimistic

"Hey, remember that school I recruited you to? Well, I'm at this school now that is across the country. We are both named Huskies though!"

The board is incredibly silly these days.

They fired Miller (as many were calling for) so MAL left.
They hired Chillious (which many celebrated).
But because they can't rope in a recruit in April, they are crushed.

People want to complain. It's obvious. People like being the battered fanbase with the bad team. EXAMPLES: Mets, Jets, Eagles, etc.

I think a lot of people assumed they already had some recruits in the fold with the Chillious hiring considering we lost half our team.

Well you can't have both, if you want Chill here, Miller had to go
When did I say I wanted both?

I liked Miller. Miller was fired. Fine. I can think that was a mistake. That's just my opinion.

Chill was hired. I can still want him to succeed even though I thought Miller shouldn't have been let go for Chill.

The two aren't mutually exclusive.

As I pointed out, there is hardly anyone left. People skewered me for pointing out that it is April and that there is no one out there. Who are they going to recruit? Look at the 247 rankings.

I can hardly believe people were expecting solid new players.

You think people want this? We have 2 players returning who we know are healthy for next season, you would have to be insane to want that. You don't expect people to be critical and panicking about our situation?

People (like you) complain just to complain. There are reasonable concerns with the program. You all just try to make it worse... Because you want to? I guess.

Because it's incredibly rare for that to happen, right? Kids never follow coaches.

We get it, you're in love with this staff. Others aren't. It's cool. We can all have our opinions.
