Just saw on 247 Andrew Slater swapped his pick to us for former Washington guard signee Blake Harris. Anyone heard that we are in on him?

No - but he'd be a big pick up. Taller pure point guard.
 
He might have the wrong Huskies? I've never even heard this kids name before.

Don't see that he followed killings , but killings did follow him. And if husky99 is right about a "top guard" leaving this makes a lot of sense .
 
Yeah if you read the Enoch transferring thread we need a new starting PG.

Good lord. Saw the other thread about a top guard leaving, so this would support that.

Question is, is it Adams or Gilbert? And even worse (for us), who should we hope it is? We lose one year of Adams or potentially 3 of AG.

I could see Adams going pro (although I think he needs another year). Doesn't make much sense for Gilbert to transfer and sit out again.

So that would seem to be Adams.

Either way, I doubt we would be forcing AG out to sign this kid. I know nothing about him, but hes #125 in 247 composite rankings. Not exactly a mega recruit.
 
I doubt a Blake Harris recruitment depends on departure of any guard. We are short of guards (only 4 on the roster) and have 2 open scholarships. Even if no one but Enoch is leaving, we should be recruiting all the Washington guards.

None of this is confirmed, and our deepest insiders don't think any guards are leaving.

EDIT: As per @Zionn below, I stand corrected re: the second part of that sentence. Good god I hope it's not Jalen who's leaving...
 
Never seen someone so hungry to position themelves as an insider.
 
Why would Gilbert leave? If alterique leaves he has to sit out another year

if that's true, they probably have lives and also live in the northeast where there is more to do than in many other regions of the country
 
Harris looks a lot like Bazz with more hops. Who wouldn't want him, has all those crafty little moves off the dribble, can shoot it and has some nice vision too!

I'll give them s___ for misses, but we get a lot more scoops than most boards. It remains to be seen if this continues post-Miller. Also, in Oz, we have the loosest lipped insider in the history of basketball forums.
