I guess this is a very creative way to build a roster.

Late yesterday, one of Texas' graphic designers started following Kamilla Cardoso on twitter. This same guy had recently started following a potential men's hoopster transfer from Vanderbilt to Texas which then became official on Tuesday.
So your pretty much saying Cardoso to Texas is about to happen ?

It's great to have all of those HS accolades, but only Gordon and Taylor have averaged over 10 ppg in any season of their collegiate career (I'm not counting the 11ppg Williams was averaging in Duke's four games last year). Someone is going to have to start scoring some points...

I wish I knew for sure. The twitter "signs" point to it based on past history. But, Vic Schaefer hasn't even hired (publicly announced) a replacement frontcourt coach for Johnnie Harris yet. Perhaps he told Cardoso who her position coach will be.

Lewis and Balgoun have averaged double digits multiple years. I'm confident in Duke's ability to score next season.

Balogun averaged 8.1 and 5.8 her sophomore and junior years at Louisville, but you're right, she averaged 14.6 her freshman year at GT. I forgot she started there.

Lewis wasn't on this AA list and was just going off of this post, she's averaged double figures all three years at Wisconsin. But it kind of proves the point I was trying to make -- just because you're a high school AA, that doesn't necessarily translate into anything once you get to college. And Duke will need some of these players to step up in ways they haven't shown so far to be as successful as fans want them to be.

Im calling Texas or Maryland still.....Alot of terps on her followers list.

I thought Greene would be out of eligiblity after 21-22. And transfers are now kind of a way of life, as Coach M certainly knows. Thanks for the clarification.
You're probably right about her going elsewhere, but for some reason I can see her playing with Shelden. Greene, not so much.

Please revert to the Purdue and Michigan State suggestions. ;) Any thoughts on your part?

Well, I guess we get to see if Mikesell can play with Shelden and Greene. You were right.

Transfer outta UNC.... could be a good pickup for someone

 I see what you did there. I was thinking the other UNC.

She was Big Sky MVP? They finished in 4th place and barely over .500 overall. Pretty shocking the league didn't manage to name one of the Idaho St. players MVP.

Taylor just looked so out of place last year. She could've been tapping her sneakers three times and chanting "there's no place like home" on the sidelines.
Wel'll see how the year off works out for her and who is on that ever-changing Buckeye roster when she gets in. As written somewhere, I think she and Sheldon can co-exist, if even for a year.

Well, considering Taylor got the free waiver to play this past year at Oregon, she will need to apply again for a waiver to play at tOSU this coming season.

This is not an indictment towards Taylor per se' but if the NCAA allows her to play immediately at tOSU this year without sitting a year in residency than this whole new transfer business is a complete SHAM and will in fact be, as so many have alluded, the WILD WEST with no sheriff in town. Rife with selfishness, irresponsibility of fiscal and oversight that will erode any residual belief in "higher education" or amateurism. It will be "who benefits me the most this year" mantra.

Rant over.

South Carolina getting another big doesn't really scare me. If it was an elite shooter though I would be shook.

I agree with you 100%. One waiver is OK. Two waivers is total bull.

Greedy Greedy Greedy. Isn't Greed one of the Deadly Sins?

Yeah they favorites now.

If Henny and Zia play consistent and hit shot. Favorites for NCAA.
Plus the freshmen guards speed of development.
Ok, I am on the phone now with the fabric company to sew up another banner...
